Calvin Johnson finally reappeared this season. He started off nicely with a 7 rec. for 111 yards game against Notre Dame to begin the season. However, he only caught 6 passes for 35 yards combined against lowly Samford and Troy, although it's hard to consider Troy too low after they almost upset Florida St.

Last night, Johnson had 6 receptions for 165 yards and 2 tds. This is the type of performance that one would expect from what most think is the top WR in the country. It's scary to think of the stats this guy could put up if he actually had a decent passing QB. I don't mind Reggie Ball as a runner, but he does not have a very good arm.

Yeah in my opinion if you put this guy on a Ohio State or USC or even give GT a decent passing QB, he'd put up some scary numbers. Similar to Fitzgerald at Pittsburgh. I expect him to continue to make these type of strides but because of the QB you'll probably see some inconsistency.

Add Porky to that group. I'm not throwing him #1, but I think top 5-10 is a definite at this point. I rank him the 4th overall prospect behind Quinn, Joe Thomas, and Adrian Peterson.

I honestly hope if Trent Green misses 3 or 4 more games I hope we get a high draft pick and pick this guy he would bring our offense up. Youd be hearing "Croyle to Johnson TOUCHDOWN!" every Sunday

Heckuva game last night. CJ did have a monster game. If GT did not have a Ron Mexico clone @ QB then can you imagine what kind of stats Calvin would put up?

Those throwback Ga Tech unis last night were 2 sweet.

I am glad to see Chan Gailey (former Dolphins OC) having some success in Hotlanta.

I"m a big fan of Chan's...I liked him as the Cowboys coach and thought that he could've done better had Jerry Jones left him alone.

Agreed. Though Jerry Jones is tolerable compared to Snyder.
