Anyone else getting tired of seeing Peyton Manning EVERY TIME you turn on the TV? The guy has more commercials right now on TV than every other NFL Player combined.

I thought McNabb was bad, but at least he only ever pimped one thing. Manning's endorsing EVERYTHING!

The only commercial I think is even remotely funny is the one where he's wearing the dorky mustache. But I can't stand his DirecTV spot or either of his Gatorade spots. Those just plain suck.

I love that commercial! I haven't even noticed the others, they must not be very good.

As far as NFL players go, you can't do much better than Peyton Manning to hock your goods. Seems like a hard working stand up guy to me.

Who would you want to see? Please don't say T.O. or Ron Mexico! [IMG]

I don't mind Peyton Manning. In fact, my favorite one is when he asks the grocery clerk, "Will you sign this bread for my brother. He loves you."

The NFL Network's love affair with Chad Johnson is getting to me a little. "Where you at, 85?" Good Googly Moogly! It starting playing just as I started typing this. Geez. "So you missed 85 and there was nothing you could do." Two Chad spots before I could even finish this post. Leave me alone, 85.

he just set the record for most TD passes in a single season a few years ago...every sport fan knows who he is and know what commercials he does...i think the companies are making good decisions and you are provign it with this we are giving them more advertisements by talking about it on the web, it is difficult to say anything against having manning doing the commercials...i like the one with him and his brother eli in the espn studios fighting and archie keeps checking on them

Cut that meat! Cut that meat!

I love it when he tells the accountant that he's got him on his fantasy team. [IMG]

I don't know who else I'd like to see, to be honest. Favre? Sure. You're right. That MasterCard commercial was hysterical.

Tom Brady had a pretty good run of commercials.

    Chad Johnson would be funny.

    Tiki Barber, maybe? Urlacher?

Will Ron Mexico be playing Ron Mexico? If so, I'd like to see what they can do with that.

I still go to YouTube and watch Terry Tate commercials. (I have one on my myspace commercials.) I miss the two goofy buddies on the NFL McDonald's commercials. I loved it when they were riffing on Barry Sanders. "Hey there, Mr. Half Pint Halfback." "Moving a little slow there, Barry Sandbags."

Actually I have to admit that I like most of the Manning commercials - partly because Manning is good in them but mainly because of the writing.

The Mastercards are great. The direct TV ones are the only ones I really don't care for.

I liked the Brady commercials too. Tiki actually had one too didn't he? He and Ronde....was it Visa check card?

I think they should do more with players making fun of themselves - like a journeyman (i.e. Kerry Collins) promoting a frequent flyer card, airline, real estate, etc.

I LOVE THE MASTERCARD ONES they are really so funny the first time you see them. And the one where he wears the wig is pretty good too. Personally i'm sick of TO being a media whore, not Peyton.

There's a difference between TO and Manning in this case, though. Manning and his agent are setting up these deals for ca$h, whereas TO is just hounded by the media for free. TO really has no choice but to be in the spotlight. Manning is doing it purely to get on TV.

That's how I see it, anyway.

But regardless, I agree with you that anything TO does isn't news. That whole subject should just die.

His 3-6 playoff record proves it, huh? His stats may be better, but isn't the ultimate goal for fans AND players to win the Super Bowl? In that regard, Tom Brady is the best in the league with his 10-1 playoff record.

Anyway, I miss the office linebacker commercials the most out of any football related commercials. If I were Manning I'd be taking all of the endorsements I could. Sure, he gets paid a lot to play the game, but these endorsements along with his playing pay are making sure he never has to work after he retires.

I was just about to say. I didn't know Tom Brady was getting hated? Until Manning proves he can get it done in the clutch, Brady gets my vote for the best QB in the game.
