http://www.sportsline.com/columns/story/9674420 really nice article good read.... its pretty crazy one year after the Superdome got destroyed the Saints are now playing their first home game in it. Good for the city of New Orleans
It is great for New Orleans and all the Saints fans, only downside is that the Saints have to lose their first game back in the Superdome!
I can only hope this benefits the area as much as possible. The team's success is 2nd to that of it's supporters.
I will watch the pre show and the kickoff and then the TV is going off. Or maybe to a different show.
Wow I feel much better, considering the Packers actually gave them a ball game, and they brutally crushed The ATL, good game by the Saints.

The Packers HAD that game and gave it away... It still sickens me. Saints are pretenders. The sad part is, the NFC is such a joke that the Saints could actually make the playoffs for winning junk games like this. The talent difference between the Saints and Packers isn't that great. The Saints will find that out in the coming weeks.
The Saints dominated the Falcons, bottom line. And I think that the Saints could very well make a run at the playoffs, just as I believe the Packers can.
Wow I never thought that defense could hold any NFL team to just 3 points let alone the best running team in the league. Hopefully this not just another New Orleans fluke season & they can actually build on this & perhaps keep the team from moving west after all.

Just like we didn't quite pull it off on Sunday. Scratch that, we never even came close. Hence the smile on Shanahan's face.
I think any team at any time can make a good run at a title. Things just have to click for the team. Unfortunately we never know because things change so much from week to week. For all we know the Saints could go well into the playoffs and for all we know they could lose the rest of their games. I like the way they played last night though. If they continue to play liek that then they will be a good team this year.

With the emergence of young QBs, Alex Smith, Eli, Simms(oops) & even Rex there's hope for better things to come.
Just good to see some good news out of that time. I feel a little bad for the Falcons, basically being against the rest of the world. I listened to Erik Kuselias on the way home talking about how he was in town and just asked a cab driver to just drive....everywhere. An hour and a half later, he said he learned a lot. It was kind of interesting. My friends just got back from helping out down there, so I know there is a lot of work to do yet, especially with housing, but its nice to see the football and downtown area getting back up on its feet. The Superdome looked really good. I wonder how long it will be until people can say the same about their housing. As for the game, I will leave it to a certain member of the DWO to give the indisputable truth.
The INDISPUTABLE Truth is that it sucks to have a halfback playing quarterback when you need to throw the ball. (I hate to let people down.)
Yeah so much for that option play. Before the game Mora Jr. was quoted as saying they've added a pass option to prevent defenses from keying on Vick. Too bad his QB doesn't know how to read coverage.
I think Vick will be looked at as an average player when it's all said an done. He is an above average runner/improviser, but a below average passer. He almost never has a average game, but he is about equal in terrible and great games. Although if all teams start learning how to contain him and shut down the run, he may not last much longer in the NFL.
Theismann said that Vick made a throw last night that no other QB in the NFL could make. And then he said that no NFL QB could complete passes to Vick's receivers because the Saints were just that dominant in pass defense. Since Joe is an expert, how could Vick POSSIBLY be a bad passer? :stupid:
