When it's windy here, it feels like a blast from an oven. Absoluetly no relief. They do have these things that spray a fine mist that'll keep you cool - typically at restaurants.</p>

I wouldn't mind 120 ifit's a dry heat. Here it gets over 100 degrees here with high (I mean high)humitity.so the second you go outside you can barely even breath.</p>

That's what I meant. They have them along LV blvd (i.e the Strip).</p>

I found it intersting that <u>there are no thermometers along the strip</u>.</p>

Here in SLC, 30% is humid unless its stormy. Vegas is in an actual desert. So, its a dry heat. </p>

I did get popped on a few late adjusting lines....example: Arizona at San Fransico -3....I took the 49ers and gave the points, by game time the line had shifted to -3.5 after I had selected....translation: LOSS....no excuses though(except that one), I had a bad week in the pros....I have a much better track record betting over/unders.....I did manage to go 25-22 in NCAA though....by the way, 55% is needed to make money if you are going to bet in real life(that extra 5% covers the vig), so if anyone can maintain that % for a season, they could be dangerous in Vegas.... </p>

I did fairly well in the real life last week: won with the titans, steelers, a 2-team teaser with the niners and seahawks, lost on the indy/saints over and on the eagles, and pushed with miami. then i made a futures wager on pau gasol winning the mvp at 100-1. </p>

Just a note, we changed the Pickem Contests starting this week so that the lines do not move anymore based on the latest odds. Theodds wehave whenthe contests open up are what are used.</p>

Editops looks like Denny Crane already announced this earlier in the thread.</p>

Also the last game tiebreaker is on the NCAAF contest as well.</p>
