Some of the top prospects on the East Coast – like athlete <font color="#0a4ea3">Will Hill</font> of New Jersey and linebacker <font color="#0a4ea3">Brendan Beal</font> of Pennsylvania – appear close to making their college decisions. </p> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="208" align="left"><tbody><tr><td width="202"></td><td rowspan="3" width="6"></td></tr><tr><td height="3"></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><font size="1">Could Will Hill be a Gator after this weekend?</font></td></tr></tbody></table>Hill, the nation's No. 17 player, is scheduled to take an official visit to Florida this weekend. He is expected to commit to <font color="#0a4ea3">Urban Meyer</font> and his staff if all goes well. Hill has offers from nearly every program in the country, but the 6-foot-3, 203-pounder fell in love with Gainesville on an unofficial visit in July. </p> Hill nearly committed on that trip, but decided to wait so his mother could see the campus as well. If he doesn't feel comfortable enough to commit on his visit, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, USC and others could get a look. However, it's likely he'll end the process soon. </p> Hill could be joined as a Gator commitment by Bethlehem (Pa.) Liberty linebacker Brendan Beal. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder played his junior season at Roxbury High School in New Jersey, but transferred in the offseason. Beal has been to Gainesville twice on unofficial visits and will be back for an official visit this weekend. </p> Beal has also been to USC on an unofficial visit and took his first official visit this past weekend to Boston College. Despite a good visit to Chestnut Hill, the Gators are still the team to beat. Beal said he expects to make a decision in late October and hopes to get back to Los Angeles on an official visit. Beal mentioned he would also like to see LSU. </p> Matthews (N.C.) Butler safety <font color="#0a4ea3">Spencer Adams</font> will also visit Florida this weekend, and the Gators are one of his favorites - along with Clemson. </p>
Yeah, I'm surprised they're not considering Rutgers more. Hillhas said he wants to go to a place wherehe KNOWSthey have a chance to win a title. Maybe they will if Rutgers keeps doing what they're doing and has a great season?</p> </p>

Gators called it!</p> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City) all-around star Will Hill took his official visit to Gainesville, Fla., last Saturday and watched from the stands as the Gators thrashed Tennessee 59-20. On Thursday, he is expected to announce his intent to suit up for the Gators next season, much to the chagrin of the USC Trojans, who he was previously scheduled to visit this weekend. "I went to the Rutgers-Louisville game last year, but I had never seen anything like this," said Hill of the weekend visit, when reached by phone on Tuesday. "The atmosphere at Florida, from the fans and alumni, showed how serious they take football and how much they love the game. I knew my dad would be hyped, but even my mom was jumping around doing the Gator chomp!"</div></p> Source: Sports Illustrated</p>
lol. I was just posting that.</p> Gators gonna get a special talent. Listed as an Athlete. Probably be a Safety. But he could a lot of things. Wouldn't be surprised if they put him at WR to get the ball in his hands.</p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" width="425" height="350"><param name="width" value="425" /><param name="height" value="350" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qLa3QiL7iM0" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qLa3QiL7iM0"></embed></object>
He's a safety, but we might be able to move him up to CB(hopefully). We already have Major Wright(absolute stud true freshman) and Jamar Hornsby(redshirt freshman) and we have already signed Dee Finley(#2 S recruit). We are a little weak at CB, but we certainly won't have a shortage of talent at the safety spot.We are absolutely LOADED at WR, QB, S right now. He'd be dumb to switch to WR with the guys we have. </p> Will said that last year he was looking at Rivals and saw Major Wright and said he wanted to play with him.</p> This is recruiting though, so I'm not holding my breath until he signs his LOI. </p>
Beal just committed Although his announcement date was on and off several different times and went though a couple of different changes of venue, what never varied was the interest level Rivals100 linebacker <font color="#1d3385">Brendan Beal</font> had in the University of Florida Gators. On Thursday night, on CSTV during a telecast of Tom Lemming's Next Generation, the nation's No. 51 rated prospect made it official.</p> <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">document.write(insertImage('/IMAGES/PROSPECT/PHOTO/BRENDANBEAL4_18200.JPG', '', 0, 266, 200, 1, 'Beal announced for the Gators on CSTV', 'Rivals.com', 1193350191000, '', 882, 'Align=Left'));</script> <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="208" align="left" border="0"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="202"></td> <td width="6" rowspan="3"></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="3"></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center"><font size="1">Beal announced for the Gators on CSTV</font></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> From Florida and Southern Cal to Florida and Boston College to Florida and LSU, his list of favorites changed several times, however in the end the Gators won out for his services. During a conversation with GatorBait.net on Wednesday evening, the 6-foot-4, 235-pound, four-star prospect spoke of the reason Florida was the best fit for him. "It's got to be my relationship with all the coaches and a chance to play early. Coach (Urban) Meyer and I clicked right from the start. He told me what he's looking for from his defense and I have a chance to make a difference early on. That's the mentality I'm going to come in with. I've been studying their linebackers and <font color="#335cd6">Brandon Spikes</font> is a great linebacker, but with the other guys there, I feel like I might have an advantage size wise. "I want to help establish a new linebacker tradition with the Gators. I'm willing to work to do what I have to do to make my name at Florida."</p>
