FSU looks awful as of late and I just don't see them winning the ACC this year. Miami need some big changes and they don't look like they can win the ACC. VT I still think is a little overrated this year and will lose one or two down the road.

That leaves me with Clemson. I really like this team coming into the year and thought they could get to a 9 win season but now I think they could win the ACC Championship. Their offense is very potent and they have a pass rush on D with Adams. Right now Clemson looks like the team to beat in the ACC.

Don't sleep on Georgia Tech though. Calvin Johnson is a beast and they will upset Miami or Georgia down the road this year.

I agree wholeheartedly. Will Proctor and James Davis make a dangerous one-two punch combo on offense. Right now, they are the team to beat in the ACC. Too bad they had such a heartbreaking loss to BC.

This will sound crazy, but i think Miami wins ACC, and here is why:

    1) Shedule is all winnable games til VT.
    2) They will beat VT cuz if they dont coker will lose job (which i want)
    3) He will then win title game and go to bowl and get 12 million dollar payout, thus keeping job
    4) He cant recruit well enough to win a title, and I want him to lose, so he will just enough to screw me.

You are right it does and is. My money is on Va Tech to win the ACC. Year in and year out, Beamer just finds a way.

When reading this title thread, I instantly thought Clemson. What they did yesterday was phenomenal; 324 (?) yds and 7 TD's rushing. I thought beating Free Shoes U the week before was an impressive feat.

The ACC will be a 2 team race between VT & Clemson IMO.

I think Clemson will win the ACC. The ACC doesnt look that strong this year and Clemson just looks like the best of the bunch.

I like Georgia Tech the best. Calvin Johnson the best WR since Larry Fitzgerald to play in the NCAA. Georgia Tech also has a very good defense.

Having a little bit of biase, my sleeper team in the NC State Wolfpack. We switched from QB Marcus Stone to Daniel Evans against Boston College, and won the game. Evans threw the winning TD with 6 secs left. The wolfpacks also has Andre Brown and Tony Baker, two very talented RBs on their roster. CB AJ Davis and DT Demaricus Tyler are considered day one picks. The only thing that can hold the team back, considering if Daniel Evans can manage the game, is the run defense. We have one really good LB, and two underachieving LBs.

I think it is an extremely weak year for the ACC but......I'm gonna give VT the conference....They have got a great shot this year in a weakened ACC.

Oh I don't know I quite enjoyed that game myself. [IMG] Unfortunately BC wasn't able to get it done at NC St.

The rumor comming out of the ACC is that Bill Cowher will step down after this year from the steelers and become the NC State coach, his alma mater. He lives in NC and would seem like a good fit

I think that's wishful thinking on most NC St fans part.

I heard this too and I just can't see Cowher leaving the NFL as a SB winning coach. As a future HOF Head Coach and going to the college game. If he leaves the Steelers I think he takes a year off and comes back maybe a year later and coaches elsewhere.

Isn't it interesting that Clemson and Georgia Tech are the favorites to meet in the ACC Championship game right now?

I think I might be the only person in the world that isn't suprised by this. I had GT as my sleeper team in the ACC this year and I had Clemson doing well as well. I had both teams finishing 2nd to Miami and FSU on their respective sides. So to see them doing this good doesn't shock me.

What shocks me is the fact that nobody looks like they can step up and challenge them. Miami and FSU look awful as of late and VT I still believe is overrated and has done little to prove me wrong especially getting spanked by their only quality opponent.
