As long as he recovers from the microfracture, Portland is just going to get scarrier with yet another high lottery pick
This upcoming draft is littered with prized PGs, Eric Gordon, Derrick Rose, OJ Mayo., Collison. Athletic wings, Budinger, Walker.
Well with continued improvements in this area of surgery, Oden should be back, the hole sounds small, I guess we should be experts, given Kidd, wondeirng if anyone knows if this was a weight bearing part of his knee.

"Around every corner, is a ray of light". Somehow in the end, Blazers will likely end up in a better position, than they are in now. Just imagine if they manage to snatch another high pick to add to their roster. Eventually, Portland will be a real threat in the Western Conference.
.....Blazers just jinxed, it started with passing on MJ......or maybe you go back further to Walton's foot injuries.

I know what you're saying though. Hopefully Oden can recover fully and be ready to play in 2008-09. Man, it sucks as a fan to see this happen, I was looking forward to seeing him play and going head-to-head with Dwight.

Damn that sucks. I guess we could say that Kevin Durant could be the best player from this draft class now if the injury effects his career. This sucks big time for Oden but maybe even more so for the Trail Blazers.

At least, that was the mindset of the Blazers when they chose him.
