I believe TO is a manic depressant who struggles with issues varying from self esteem to homosexuality....his personality is indicitive of someone that had very few friends growing up and was the target of ridicule on a regular basis....he grew up without his biological parents, raised by his single grandmother in a southern state that still struggles with racial tensions today....if you add all that together: racial attacks, secret homosexual tendencies, the lack of natural parents, and general mocking by peers, you get a recipe for a disasterous napoleonic complex that would explain his on and off field behavior and a tendancy toward depression....his awesome work ethic could have developed the same way, as he spent a lot of time alone trying to prove others wrong, and that lead to obsessive workouts and prep work....

He loves himself too much to commit suicide. There are some questions but I think it was not an attempted suicide.

I think it probably was just an accident. If any of you have ever been on Vicodin, you'd know that it can make you really loopy. My girlfriend is taking it now for pain in her foot and there are nights you'd swear that she just chugged a twelve pack of beer after one pill (depending on the strength).

It sucks that it happened...if only because the media doesn't need any more reasons to be talking about Terrell Owens.

There is no difference from T.O the football player, and T.O the person. He does what he does on the field because he loves the attention. He loves to show people that he is good. And he loves to tell them it to. In his real life he acts the same. He does what he does for attention and to show that he can always top what he has done before. I belive this is the last straw, there is something wrong with this guy and this is the final sign. I hate the fact that everytime he does something its blown out of porportion, everytime T.O takes a step the media is on his jock. It must be hard to have all of espn, and Micheal Irvin on your jock 24/7. What they need to do is stop covering T.O its the only reason he does what he does, cause he knows the minute he does something it will be on espns headline news, i want to see what he does when people stop covering what he does.

Nobody will ever stop covering him because so many people want to know what he's doing. This is overblown. This isn't the last straw and this wasn't a suicide attempt no matter how badly 49er and Eagle fans might want it to be.

In something that could be life and death then there is a huge difference. You can hate the guys guts because of what he does on the football field or what he did to the Eagles or other teams but the fact is nobody should be happy to see someone alledgely try and kill himself.

oo thats not what i meant proky, there is no reason to actually want a ghuy to kill himself or anything of that sort.. Wether he is T.O or Steve Smith. It just shouldnt be like that but what i mean is... He isnt different off the field then he is on. He talks as much crap. He shows off as much.. And he wants as much attention its just T.o being T.o.. Wether or not he tried to kill himself we will never know but i still think he has some mental issues wether he tried or didnt try to kill himself.

yes i think everyone knows that they wotn stop covering him i was saying in a hypithetical way. Everything he does is overblown. And no one knows if it was a suicide attemtp or not you have two stories form different sides. Its all a matter of oppinion wether or not you think this guy is sad enough to kill or even try to kill himself. Myself i dont think it was a suicide attempt but i dont think it was done on "accident" either who really knows what happen at the time. But in the end it all comes up to what you think and how you think. If some "49ers and eagles" fans think he tried to kill himself then thats there opinion and you cant say wether they are right or not... Now i think this post is outdated and im kind of sick of writing the letters T.O. so im done [IMG].

About that Niner comment.... I would never wish death upon anyone..Besides my sister but not even then..[IMG]

TO is not a good person at heart but it doesn't mean he deserves to die or anything like that...He is an incredible talent as everyone knows but is also an incredible fool...Somebody needs to b-slap him and wake his a- up...

It may be hypocritical of me, but, no one can or should judge TO. I disagree with his methods and wonder what his rationale/motivation truly is?

I honestly think this was an accident. Some medications do not mix well w/ one another. If I have learned one thing from watching House, its that not all people are completely forthcoming with their physicians.

On a lighter note, as pointed out by Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann pointed out, TO's publicist said that a man of his "statue" would not commit suicide.

I saw the most claseless sign on MNF tonight. It read "Get well TO! So, we can kill you." Some Philly fans could learn alot from their QB who sent a text message to TO to see if all was well and offer his support if needed.

I saw that too, and I had no clue what to think. I've come to expect it from a large portion of Eagles fans now, which is kind of sad. There's a way to root for your team without making yourself look like a jerk doing it.

And oh yeah, T.O. said he never got that text [IMG]
