There's no room for him on the current roster anyways. I remember reading the Lakers planned to leave him and Marc Gasol overseas for a year or two before they bring them over.
Yeah, we already have Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, and Javaris Crittenton at point guard. That's already one veteran player to go along with two developing youngsters. There is no room on the roster for Sun Yue, so, like shapecity said, he'll most likely have to play overseas this season, and maybe even next season. Anyways, I'll be rooting for the guy, because I've seen a couple of his highlights, and I can tell he has the talent to be something in the league one day, it's just a matter of if he's going to put it all together.
Was he supposed to be signed? I didn't expect us to...I figured he'd play in another league until we needed him. Same with Marc Gasol.
I hope we don't sign him because we don't have any space for him on our roster plus we have already like a lot of PG's and we don't need him just sitting in the bench.
