Hey kobe23, the Lakers offseason has been very quiet and frustrating. I think a lot of fans had the wind knocked out of them after KG ended up in Boston and the Lakers didn't make any blockbuster moves. The only local media coverage has been centered around Kobe's situation, and you can only talk about it so many times. </p> Once preseason camp starts the Laker activity level and coverage will pick up.</p>
If it's so lonely...why don't you post in other areas of the forum? This isn't like jbb where it mattered which team section was the best...because it doesn't matter. </p>
^That didn't matter on JBB either. It's just that most people would rather talk about their favorite team instead of some random team. I know I could talk about the Magic all day long but if I start talking about a team I don't like such as oh I don't know, the Pistons, I have the urge to punch a baby. Just an example.

Well, what is there to talk about? When the Kevin Garnett rumors first surfaced, the Lakers forum was the busiest I've ever seen it. The same goes for when the Jermaine O'Neal rumors were taking place. But once again, rumors were just rumors and we were left with more broken promises.There's really nothing to talk about right now, I'm sure if interesting news comes up, there will be discussion. ButI honestly don't see how we can create much discussion about Kobe going to the Philipines or about a 2nd round draft pick in Sun Yue....
How's Crittendon going to turn out? He could well challenge Farmar for the starting PG job. Or is it going to be Fischer?</p> </p>
well shape did say it best, us laker fans are pretty down right now with the non-progress we have seen our team go through, plus our team sucks balls so its hard to talk about them with any confidence or enthusiasm

Yeah i think this whole offseason has not been one of the best no good trades happen the KG dream is over nothing really good has really happen that we could talk about.
Well what kind of idiot trades Butler and other for Kwame Brown and lets not forget the Shaq trade was the worst trade.
The butler deal was clearly doo doo. Shaq? Either Kobe or Shaq had to go, and they chose the really young guy to go forward with. Not sure that was a bad one.</p> Obviously you'd like to keep em both tho. They just didn't get along with one another.</p> </p> </p>
