    NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Third-ranked Oklahoma scored onits first three possessions and never looked back, rolling to a54-3 victory against overmatched Utah State on Saturday.

    The Sooners (3-0) opened the scoring with a 35-yard touchdownrun by wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias just over three minutesin.


    Redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Bradford threw a 27-yardtouchdown pass to Malcolm Kelly and later hooked up with tightend Joe Jon Finley for a nine-yard scoring pass to make it 21-0.

    The Aggies (0-3), who were outgained, 617-153, scored their onlypoints on a 30-yard field goal by Peter Caldwell in the secondquarter to pull within 21-3.


    But the Sooners answered with 17 points to close out the firsthalf with a commanding 38-3 lead.


    Allen Patrick rushed for 69-yard touchdown, and Bradfordconnected with Kelly again for a 17-yard TD pass.


    Bradford finished 19-of-26 for 256 yards with three touchdownsand one interception.


    Oklahoma padded its lead in the second half on a 92-yardtouchdown run by DeMarco Murray and a 45-yard interceptionreturn for a score by linebacker Curtis Lofton.


    Patrick carried nine times for 119 yards and Murray rushed fourtimes for 100 yards for the Sooners, who finished with 343 yardson the ground.


    Utah State's Leon Jackson III completed 9-of-14 passes for 66yards and an interception while Curtis Marsh had 31 yards on 11carries.

    "It was a good solid day," Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said."Offensively we ran it well, took care of the football andmainly had no fumbles. That is a big thing, something I didn'twant to see this week. We also played well defensively."
