ESPN and TNT are looking at dropping Trailblazers games, but thisarticleintheOregonianmakesagoodpoint, itonlymakessenseforthemtodosoifthereisabettergameinthesametimeslot. Severalofthegamesonthosenetworksaretheonlygamesinthattimeslotonthatday,soIdon'texpectustolosetoomanynationalTVgames.
No surprise here, they did this last season with the Wizards when Gilbert and Caron went down with injuries. I believe that Sacramento also lost alot of national TV appereances after they were not playin gup to par.

Doesn't TNT make sure there is always a third game available, that they put on if they need a replacement? ESPN, those games are going to get dropped heavy though. They have plenty of teams playing on Wednsdays and Fridays.
They won't lose the October 30th opener against San Antonio. Deember 6th, the alternative game is Hawks vs. T'wolves, so they probably will not lose that one either. They can't lose the Christmas game against Seattle. The alternative game on January 3rd is Nuggets vs. Spurs, which is good, but the Bulls are popular, so they should keep that game as well. January 18th, they'll probably get replaced by either the Washington-New York, Boston, or Phoenix games. Depending on if New York is decent, New York vs. Utah might replace their January 30th game, about 50/50 though, since they are playing Lebron, so I'll give them that game. Febuary 1st will probably be lost to the Warriors, unless the Knicks are good. The alternative San Antonio game will probably take their Feb 21st spot. Feb 29 against the Lakers will probably be lost to Miami vs. Seattle. Bulls vs. Jersey, or Dallas vs. LA should take up their March 18th game. They'll keep the April 3rd game against Houston.
Six national team games is good, considering how bad of a team they are.

I guess since Oden is out the networks want to drop the games. Oden has received big hyph but this injury has hurt the trailblazers.

Even without Oden I think the Blazers are an exciting team to watch. They've dumped the old baggage, and are made up of young talent. And Josh McRoberts.

I guess they dropped our home opener in favor of another game, but that is the only game I've heard will be dropped for sure. Oh well.
