True, Kobe is one of the greatest Lakers ever, and it would be a shame if his jersey retired anywhere else. Unless Kobe wins us another 3 championships, we will most likely retire #8. But then again, Kobe didn't make history by scoring 81 points in #8, so I'm going to say we're going to retire both!T/F: Andrew Bynum will become an All-Star in the next 3 to 4 years

True, there's a reason why we're paying him so much, and it's not to sit on the bench this year.

T/F - The Lakers win more than 45 games.

Actually, Kobe was in #8 when he put up 81.

Responding to the last question, I say false. I see the Lakers winning 43 this year, 44 at best.

T/F: The Lakers move Kwame Brown's expiring deal by the trade deadline.

True, I do think that they will retire Shaqs jersey once Shaq retires.

T/F The Lakers retire Kobes # as 8/24 that would be cool.

    False

I see 8 being retired for the back to back champions and the 81 points but the #24 is questionable.

T/F Lakers trade either Farmar or Crittenton before the trade deadline.

False, both are talented and young PG's and will be helpful behind Derek Fisher. I'll be surprised if either are traded unless it's in a package for a second option.

    True/False: Odom averages 18-20 PPG.

False. Vujacik is a great talent, and an awesome though streaky shooter. I can see him being a valued contributor off the bench for Jackson as he becomes more comfortable with the offense, maybe even a breakout performer.

T/F: Crittendon will threaten Fisher for the starting pg duties before Farmar does.

False Crittenton is going to be a very good player but i doubt PJax will take Fisher out and put Crittenton in.

    T/F Lakers re-sign Kwame Brown....lol seriously T/F...

True everyone knows that Mitch would be dumb enough to re-sign Brown.

T/F Chris Mihm becomes the starter

False. He'll split time at the 5, but Kwame's more mobile right now and had a stronger season last year, so the job's his to lose. I think this is a make or break year for him, and although he won't break out as a star, he'll hold down the 5 spot.

t/f - Lakers have a second all-star caliber player(no, Odom doesn't qualify) by the end of the year.

False - The Lakers have exhausted their efforts already in the off-season and failed to acquire an All-Star caliber player. With the team heading out to Hawaii for preseason camp, I can't imagine them making any last minute deals before the off-season ends.

I also don't see the Lakers making a mid-season deal for any significant player. The last player the Lakers acquired right before the trade deadline in Feb, who had any significance, was Glen Rice.

The Lakers have already shown they have no problem letting valuable contracts expire without getting compensation back. They did it with Divac's deal, Mihm last year, and I don't expect them to get anything for Kwame's large expiring contract.

T/F - Luke Walton will shoot above 50% this season? His career high to date is 47.4% from the field.

False, I think he shoots too many 3's to be a 50% FG shooter.

    T/F: We get Shawn Marion.

I want to say TRUE so bad hahaha, but the Lakers organization can't seem to close the deal on any potential blockbuster trades. All the rumors have been coming out of the Phoenix camp and nothing has come out of LA. Odom is also healing slowly from his shoulder surgery, which makes it tough to include him in any deal. I'm going to say False, but I hope I'm wrong.

T/F - Kwame Brown has a career year since his contract is about to expire?

T He will do anything to stay with LA. Thats my thought but I do hope that he has a career year. If Kwame doesn't get hurt and if he's mentally strong then he will have a good year.

T/F- Kobe stays with the Lakers if they land Marion.

True, he would probably stay anyways but the Lakers won't get Marion. I doubt the Suns would keep Marion in the Pacific where the Lakers could potentially battle with the Suns for the division title.

    True/False: Chris Mihm has a healthy 07-08.
