Dick Stockton, Darryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa took part in an on-air joke where they said that they would be giving away a car during a Panthers-Dolphins exhibition game. Tony picked out Carolina Superfan, Catman, and gave him a toy car. Catman thought it was to represent a real car. Like the article states, it was probably done to keep people tuned into the game. That's one of the lowest schemes I have ever heard of. Shame on anyone that anything to do with this prank. It's absolutely disgusting and Fox Sports should give this man a real car. Oops. I just found an article where this guy is going to get a truck. It looks like Fox CEO David Hill is going to fix it. I guess Fox doesn't suck so much after all. Link - http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/15454245.htm
I saw that game. It was that Panther fan with the Don King like wig. lol He looked pretty PO'd when he found out it wasn't a real truck.
Talk about your all time stupid publicity stunts. I'm glad they're going to own up to it, though. Still...shouldn't have happened in the first place.
