<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>What should the league do to punish this guy? I say he should be suspended for the entire season. http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articl...RTS01/610020368</div> He should be suspended for the entire season without pay. The NFL needs to make an example out of him so that nobody else pulls crap like this. What he did was REALLY wrong. I'm surprised the Cowboys players didn't let him have it prison style.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (cubuffsman78)</div><div class='quotemain'>Haynesworth has apologized and said he is disgusted with himself. You can hear the disappointment in his voice. He said he will not fight any suspension and will take it all with ease. Personally, I think when a player is attacked like that that the attacker should be arrested and charged with assault. I understand it's football and that emotions are running high. I understand that fights will happen....but not like that. Haynesworth will face a long suspension and kudos for Jeff Fisher and what he told Parcells immediately after the game. I really like Fisher. I feel bad for him because this will be his last season as the Titans coach. The front office has really screwed up the QB situation in Tennessee.</div> I wouldn't leave it at assault. I'd throw battery in their as well because of the actual physical contact. He had a fairly large bandage on his head because of big Al so I think battery is in order too.
I heard on the NFL Network that Gurode is seeing plastic surgeons. He has seven different gashes that total 30 stitches. I also heard that Gurode is willing to take a phone call from Haynesworth to hear what he has to say before calling Tennessee authorities to tell them if he wants to press charges or not. That's pretty generous on Gurode's part.

Yes the fine and suspension will cost him his entire yearly salary, but he's got a 5 million dollar signing bonus that's sure to tide him over.

But I could swear that Theismann and those other two bozos were talking about it last night and the $500,000 figure came up. Maybe I mis-heard it? *shrugs*
