I have not seen this week's rankings but the last I checked, The SEC (nations premire Football conference) had 4 teams (Auburn, Georgia, Florida, & LSU) in the top 10. Tennessee is in top 25. It appears Auburn may get shafted again by the BCS. Ohio St is legit. USC IMO is not #2.

I like Auburn, Michigan, and Florida more than USC. Georgia is a team that is going to struggle to stay in the top 10 because of a total lack of offense. They have the best defense in the country though and that's what has kept them unbeaten to this point.
I agree that UGa is not solid like the other three. The winner of the GA/FL game should win the SEC East. Unless Auburn collapses, They should win the west. Michigan is playing phenomenal. The game against Ohio St s/b a real slobberknocker.
If Florida runs the table they should play Ohio State for the National Title. I think USC is legit. People aren't seeing them win 56 to 49 like last year. Instead it's more like 24 to 17. just because it's not as flashy doesn't mean it's not as impressive. I think they could run the table although I like Oregon to beat them. Auburn is solid but I'm not sure they can go unbeaten. I think they'll lose at least once. Michigan in my opinion will lose to Ohio State and maybe slip up once to Iowa. West Virginia or Lousiville will go undefeated. Georgia is overrated and will lose to Tennessee next week.

Alot of people are overlooking Cal in the Pac10. Though, this may be the year for Harrington's alma mater. It would not surprise to see Michigan slip up to Purdue or another 2nd tier Big 10 team. Further proof of the SEC's dominance; scoring D thru 9/30.

I really like what West Virgina is doing. The only real game left on their schedule is Louisville. They will likely be undefeated. I feel like Auburn is going to lose one game soon. If you shut down Irons, that team will struggle.

Even if they do beat Louisville then they beat a Louisville team without Michael Bush and Brett Brohm. I feel sorry for Slaton. He could be the Heisman leader if his school would schedule somebody decent.

Even so even if WV does go undefeated they'll be the team on the outside looking. I hope they don't complain either since it's their fault they schedule such a weak non conference schedule. Slayton will get his chance at the Heisman next year.
It's completely possible to me that West Virginia goes undefeated and gets "Auburned" mainly because of their weak schedule. I mean, Ohio State is looking like they'll go perfect pending Auburn, and I would bet good money that either USC or Auburn will go perfect too. If that happens, the Slatons are on the outside looking in. And that would be terrible for the BCS as a whole

He said that the SEC will not be in a National Championship game until there is a playoff system in place. He criticized the NCAA for adding a 5th BCS Bowl game but not using it as a playoff scenario. Remember, Mack Brown criticized the NCAA last year for this although Mack's thoughts seemed a little more selfish because he only talked about how it would affect his team. Tuberville was talking about his conference as a whole. I really think that the BCS is just a couple of years away from finally putting in at least a 4 team playoff. I think 8 would be a lot better and it should consider getting as big as 12.
