What was up with the fake field goal last night?

    Anybody know what happened with that fake field goal last night right before the half? That field goal should have been in Akers range.

    The Eagles looked good in the 2nd half. Dallas will be a real test. Hopefully the key players can get healthy in time.

    That was a junk play. I don't know what they were thinking. And you're right...that was a makeable distance for Akers.

    Fortunately, you guys didn't need the points. Ahmad Carroll made sure of that. :thumbsup:

    yea dude he got his ass handed to him, does he usually play that horible?

    Also is Charles Woodson still a bad signing>?

    I still don't understand why they didn't give him some help...I mean I understand they wanted to pressure Mcnabb, but it didn't matter how much pressure they put on him when he just had to throw it down the field since Carrol just kept getting beat.

    Carroll has never played well, no. Sherman was an idiot for drafting him as a Junior and making him start right away (after trading Mike McKenzie for nothing in return). Not to mention that he passed on Chris Gamble, the CONCENSUS number one corner in that year's draft to take Carroll.

    As for Woodson? He's been hot and cold. I think the defense as a whole will play better as the year goes on. There's still a lot of confusion and blown assignments that are making everyone, including Woodson, look bad. You saw how the whole defense was wearing wrist bands last night? They still don't understand all of their assignments.

    Once everyone has the system down and plays in it for a few more weeks, I think you'll see improvement in every area. It certainly can't get much worse.
