This is the one bright spot of the week. That ass owes me $ for about ten holes he's caused me to put in the wall. People can say he can improve but after 3 years I'm sick of watching the process especially since I havn't seen any improvement. To bad cause I actually thought being demoted to a nickleback this year would be just what he needed but seems even the oponents #3 WR took him to school so I say so long and whatever we put in next can't be worse

Carrol will definately play somewhere. He is fast and tackles well. GB Coaches figured that they better do something quick to keep the public opinion off of themselves. I agree with the safety position for him somewhere.

If Terrell Buckley was a career Lion, his 49 Interceptions would rank him 4th all time....thats how you classify a player as not having even marginal success? You shouldnt call yourself the "Historian" if you are going to say stuff like that....thats like Detroit claiming to have an NFL football team, when we all know they dont....You should petition the league to move the Lions to the CFL where they might win a game....

T-Buck was another Packer 1st round pick that was a total bust. He had to be cut just like Carroll because he had ZERO value. Herman Moore helped end Buckley's career as a Packer.

Buckley did end up where most NFC North busts do ... the graveyard in the swamp. LMAO!

Maybe we should get a pool going as to when Charles Rogers and Ahmad Carroll sign with the Dolphins.

At least Green Bay and Detroit flush their toilets, Miami just jumps in with the turds.

You mentioned turd & pool in the same post. Did you just watch Caddyshack? ROFL!

What about Damien Woody, smart guy? Signing an OG to a big contract is not wise IMO. You would think the Vikes would have learned 1st hand from yet another Motor City personnel blunder.

Don't you mean Arena League 2?

Look at it this way. With ZM, every cloud has a silver lining. It may have something to do Lions colored lenses he wears 24/7. He did get his $ worth IMO as they seem to do an excellent job as blinders.

49 Career Int. and a Super Bowl ring doesnt suggest bust to me, but what do I know, you are the "Historian"....and the difference between the Lions and the Packers is that the Lions pick players with talent and then ruin them....the Packers pick players with talent, and most of them actually play well....Matt Millen has the Sadim touch....he touches gold and turns it to shit....the sad part is that he might take Marinelli down with him, like hes done to all the coaches that have been there recently....

Buckley was a bust for the Packers, but only because he was a first round pick. He proved that he could make an excellent nickel corner, but you don't draft a guy in the first round and pay him record money to be a nickel corner. Not to mention, he just didn't like playing in Green Bay.

And you're right... The huge receivers in the NFC Central at the time were a nightmare for a 5 ' 9 corner like Buckley. He was overmatched in every division game.

Funny, though. His first career punt return went for a touchdown in his first game as a Packer...and it was all downhill from there. I remember him saying as a rookie that his goal was to get 20 interceptions that year.

    Ah, memories...
