will not be TCU! They lost to BYU last week and are down to Utah 20-7 with under a minute left in the game. My bet is on the WVa/Louisville winner... hopefully WVa.

A buster would come from a mid-major conference. Actually, I think that a Big 12 North division team could end up being a buster in the BCS too. The North is very much weaker than the South in the Big 12, but I think Missouri or Nebraska could have the ammo to upset Texas or OU in the Big 12 title game. Either one should not be ranked much higher than the bottom part of the Top 25. They still wouldn't be considered a BCS buster like TCU would've. TCU's hopes were gone after the BYU loss though.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>What about Boise St? They're currently ranked 21 & climbing ever so slowly. And thet beat Utah 36-3.</div> Good call Bakes, but they could run into a problem.....who have they beaten? They barely got past Wyoming and Hawaii. Fresno St. is the only team left on their schedule that should be considered some form of a challenge. The BCS will have a tough time voting in a team that hasn't played anyone because they want a good matchup for television. Boise St. against Florida....is that game going to be even close? That said....Utah did bust up the BCS in 2004 without playing a great team either and then beat a solid Pittsburgh team in the Fiesta Bowl.
Oh I know it's a long shot, but I was just offering up an alternative. I honestly don't follow the college game that closely except during the bowls & April's draft.
Its not BSU's fault who they play.. They play the scheduele given.. Personally as a BSU Fan i think its crap we don't get recognition.. How can we prove to be a contender when we don't play anyone spectacular.. I mean we had that Great bowl game agianst TCU a few years back and won it was a good game.. There was the BC game last year.. BSU has talent don't let the roster of white boys fool you
Boise State is the last hope for a BCS Buster. They could very well do it. The schedule sets up nicely for them to go undefeated.

Just depends on how much influence the coach has on the AD and what input he's allowed to put in on the scheduling.
