    Realistically, even with Harris and Sura cut and Lucas gone, the Rockets would still have 16 players under contract with the likely signing of Landry.</p>

    Has Reed been officially cut yet? If he hasn't I guess he'd be the odd one out, but if he's gone already we might have to part with Novak... </p>

    I expect the Rockets to make another trade (unloading a guard) before the season begins. If Charlie Bell ends up in Miami I think the Bucks become a team searching for a cheap backup at PG. Maybe the Rockets could acquire a second pick for John Lucas III from Milwaukee or the rights to Ersan (currently overseas)?

    </p> if they're gonna give the Bucks John Lucas, they should also get rid of Reed in that trade while they're at it. that'd be a smart move for the Rockets.
