It's obvious he is greatly missed. </p>

So he's playing this week? (i don't want him rushing it and then re-injuring it again)

<font size="2"><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could have played weeks ago but understands manager Sir Alex Ferguson's decision to delay his return to action. </font>

<font size="2">Rooney broke a metatarsal for the third time in three years against Reading in August but is set to face Sporting in the Champions League on Wednesday. </font></p>

<font size="2">The 21-year-old told MUTV: "I've been dying to play and I let the manager know I thought I was ready. </font></p>

<font size="2">"He and the physios have been cautious. Rightly so because of the long season." </font></p>

    <font size="2"> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="208" align="right"> <tbody><tr> <td width="5"></td> <td class="sib606"></td> </tr> </tbody></table> </font></p>

<font size="2">Rooney also denied that his boots had anything to do with his injury problems. </font></p>

<font size="2">"I know several ex-professionals have been saying it's down to my boots but they don't know what the boots are like," he insisted. "The boots are fine."</div></font></p>

Yes Rooney will be suiting up. I'm interested to see how Tevez and Rooney pair up in the front.</p>
