http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/si_blogs/...ed.html?cnn=yes This guy is asking... I think they could, but I don't think they will. I think the Patriots or one of the division teams will find a way to make sure that doesn't happen. Plus, with the scare the Colts got yesterday from the Titans, it shows that pretty much any NFL team can compete with any other...unless that team is in Oakland.

I know there is no one who would hate it more than beef. Obviously we would have to argue which team was better, '72 dolphins or '06 bears which would end in a death or me or our friendship. Yes, he is violent, and quite accurate even with a bag on his head. However, oakland has had a couple competative games, I certainly think they have more of a shot of winning cuz they can just go to a randy moss jump ball strategy and get lucky and win a few games.I dont understand why they havent already. Just ask daunte, they cant jump with randy Ok, i am off topic. Bears going undefeated would be great. I would say they have best shot of any team in recent history just cuz last 2 games are GB and Detroit. I would say the teams with best shot to beat us, and 2 of them probably will are Giants, Patriots, St.Louis and Green bay.
I think they have the best shot to do it since the 85 Bears... I think they can. I probably won't bet against them in any of their games. With that said even the great teams manage to slip up once in a while in today's NFL. We'll see though but they'll at least get to 8-0.
Something will happen with Chicago Land Luck. I had plently of the pain in the NFL with the Blackhawks.
The 2006 bears would be the better of the 2.. cause we now live in a time where there is a salary cap.. The scheduele is longer. That said the 2006 bears if go undefeated would be better then the 72 dolphins and their shorter season

Their rushing attack is only moderate their so called new D is back to the ind D of old and look like shit... The only bright star they have is Manning and its passing attack.. If they played the Bears right now we would kill Ind Cause they can't stop the run.. and we have 2 backs that would pick them apart and when they tried to stop it BAM Grossman Berrian 43 yard TD... oops sorry got excited agian
I don't think they will go undefeated. As I said earlier, teams match up in weird ways with each other. The Colts beat the Jags 21-14 and then the Jets 31-28. I thought the Jags and Jets would have been close but I was wrong. The Jags butt sex'd the Jets 41-0. Anything can happen and more importantly, it most likely will. They may get to and win the Super Bowl which is awesome, but I don't think they will go undefeated the whole way.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (b1f)</div><div class='quotemain'>... oops sorry got excited agian</div> OMG a happy bear fan!!! for once. OMG What has the world come to!
Bears won't go undefeated. Granted they don't have the toughest teams on their schedule, but I still believe that one of those teams will hand them a loss. No way they go 16-0, I just don't see it. That's a very difficult thing to do in the NFL.
They will lose....I think they may lose as many as 3....no one will ever go undefeated again, the pressure gets to be too much....
Just ask the Colts. If Manning and his WR crew can't get it done, I don't believe that Grossman and his crew can either. Chicago's D is stronger than Indy's but lets not forget that Chicago barely beat the Vikings 19-16. They aren't unstoppable and I'd be willing to bet that someone will break their winning streak pretty soon. Wouldn't that be a bitch if it was Miami?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bears#1Fan)</div><div class='quotemain'>The 2006 bears would be the better of the 2.. cause we now live in a time where there is a salary cap..</div> I don't necessarily put too much weight into the salary cap as a factor. Yes, it does impact keeping good players now, but you have to remember that there wasn't free agency back then either. Rarely did a great player become available to plug a weak hole in your team. Salary cap, in my opinion, can impact how long you are good, but plenty of teams have proved they can sacrfice that for an attempt at one-year glory.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pats_Fan420)</div><div class='quotemain'>They aren't unstoppable and I'd be willing to bet that someone will break their winning streak pretty soon. Wouldn't that be a bitch if it was Miami?</div> Again.
I still think the Pats could do it. I know offensively we've been sporatic, but if the defense can create turnovers like it has been they have a very good chance. The Patriots D pride themselves on avoiding the big plays. It's a bend but don't break philosophy. There have been some gross mistackling that has extended drives unnecessarily, but if they play to their potential they can stop anyone IMO(witness Cinci game). Obviously getting a lead early is imperative. With another month under their belt for Brady & the new WRs to gel I think it is not an impossibility.
The issue for the Bears is health. As with any team, you're only an injury away from throwing a season down the toilet. Bears could lose Grossman, Thomas Jones or a key offensive lineman and suddenly they're not quite so unstoppable anymore. I think they'll probably be 14 - 2 at the end of the season...and that's nothing to sneeze at.
I will laugh long and hard if the Cards beat the Bears on MNF coming up soon. It might even drive BF1 into <span style="color:#800000"><u>hibernation</u></span>. ROFL!

Its not like we are playing william & mary, or even worse, the detroit lions.
