Ivey is not an NBA caliber player, I've suffered through plenty of him on the Hawks and the defensive moniker is only because it's better than his offense and thats really not by a considerable amount either. The Bucks need to make nice with Charlie and match that offer, the Ivey signing in no way means the end of Bell in Milwaukee. It actually shows just how badly they need to bring Bell back.
We (as in the staff) don't want to curb your activity, it's great. But I think Kidd is trying to say there are other parts to the site. Here's the point: with Charlie Bell, the Heat off season could turn around. </p> They can now use Jason Williams' expiring contract to make another deal, perhaps for Pietrus...or they can do a sign and trade for Bell that would free up some cash for something else. The Heat are trying to get younger and under the tax threshold. THAT matters big time to Nets fans. </p> And Larry Harris is an utter incompetent, not to mention a liar. NO ONE in their right mind would sign Royal Ivey to an NBA contract if there was any chance that Charlie Bell is coming back. </p> </p> </p>
