Any Nets mod or Global Mod can change the forum colors, slogan and banner.

Currently there is no graphic at the top of the forum, so if anyone has a good idea, make one and post it here.

If you have a suggestion but are not a graphics wizard, just post your idea.

Not quite sure what you mean by the "banner." Is that the white space where the nets logo is?

It's the space between that box and the News and Standings boxes.

The width is fixed, but I think there's some leeway on the height.

Here, I'll show you where it is.

Oh right, I see. How big can the image be? I can whip up a couple of variations as options if people are interested

I put your sig up there as an example.

I figure we'll just put the first thing up there and discuss whether the next one someone posts is better. (At least for now...)

I suspect this will be a one-person competition, unless we give Regan enough time to draw something by hand.

Maybe GMJigga can make it, and then people can make suggestions on what(or how) to change. People could alsopost some goodpictures of the current Nets players to put in it.

Regan, what would you think about a picture of a basketball hoop hanging outside a window near the top of the empire state building . . . and VC soaring through the air to dunk it. You'd have to get just the right angle, so we could see the spire of the empire state building and the city below . . . I'm picuring the angle from above and to one side of the basket, using a fisheye perspective so you can see the streets and city below. It would have to be a landscape so we could see VC flying soaring towards the hoop, with his legs scissored and his arm up. I guess I'm kind of picturing that photo of Jordan in the dunk contest, but just with the ESB inserted and from a slightly different angle. What do you think? Could you do it?

My goodness that would be a serious print i'd be making there but I totally see what yer talking about. I gotta admit started kicking around some ideas when I saw this thread. GM's doing some really really nice stuff in photoshop, i'd have no problem taking turns with him in contributing to the board but they'd probably be a bit simpler than the one yer envisioning until my shcedule clears up. I'd definately want to do that pic of VC right. It is funny you mentioned Vince though because I have been sketching up a VC animated looking version where he looks like something you'd see at 4AM on Cartoon Network. Maybe this will be the kick in the butt I need to get that finished.

Yeah, that's an important point. It might sound strange to people used to something else.

Any mod can change the color scheme, slogan and banner of the forum at any time.

The forum can look exactly how the members want it to look.

something about that size would be good (730x300)... maybe even a little bigger.
I might work on something over the weekend with the whole team in it.

... That is huge, it will push threads down ALOT! Lets please try to get something 1/4 to 1/3 of that height at the most.

I mean by no means is this a competition, I was just offering a suggestion. I have class in a couple of hours so I'll get something done later tonight.

Yeah, that is a very small banner. Make it at least 1024x7668, or larger.
