Sorry, but Kidd's on ball defense sucks especially against smaller quicker guards. His defense flourishes when he's able to play free safety, when he's able to play passing lanes, preventing entry passes, etc. But his on ball defense stinks, always has. That's why I think finding a Kittles type player to play alongside him will improve the team defensively.
