I was bored so I took how the teams would fall in order if the season ended today and did a mock... I did one on the site, but they don't list all of the players that could be drafted in the 1st round. There are several I want not listed right now so I'll just copy and paste my list here. Brady Quinn probably has talent to suceed in NFL, so no way millen drafts him Tennessee pick is good I like that pick for tampa Brian brohm wont go to oakland with skeletor running the show. If Miami doest trade up to get Joe thomas, i would be disappointed. If peterson falls to GB then DAMMIT. Hes a stud
I like the Miami pick. I think they "try" to trade down and get an OL or maybe a LB...either of the ones from Penn St.

Detroit need Quinn more than Peterson, Tenn just drafted LenDale White with a high pick last year, Tampa has Cadillac and I think Peterson could be a possibilty for them if Caddy's back continues to degenerate, but I don't see it happening now. Oakland has Jordan and Brohm would fulfill a need. Seriously, think about who would be pulling the trigger. Al Davis has to be kicking himself for not taking Leinart or Cutler last year. His QB situation is probably the worst in the league. Brohm is a bit of an injury risk, but he has shown resiliency coming back from injury. Personally, I think he might have better tools than Quinn. The Niners at 12 would be much too high for Merriweather or Hughes at this point. I could see them maybe going after Leon Hall. The Niners don't have 3 WRs better than Jarrett. Who? Arnez Battle? Oakland will be #1 overall. I honestly think they win 1 game at tops this year. If GB gets AP I might soil myself. That'll really get me excited about the future considering all 3 young lineman have looked very good right now and adding AP to the mix would be great. I'm not sure if he falls to #6. I think Houston picks ahead of Green Bay and snags him a few picks before. I agree that Oakland might end up with Brohm. Davis loves Petreno (spelling) and I wouldn't be shocked to see Oakland move away from Quinn an take Brohm who is expected back as early as next week. Paul Posluszny is tough to project. I think he's dropping at a fast rate but could go that high. We'll see though. I like Cason and Johnson much higher as well. I really think Johnson is as good as Moses and maybe even better. I think he'll go top 15 although it's early to even guess. Cason I think top 20. From what I've read he should put up some nice workout numbers and teams love that. A little early to start now but you can always watch College Football Scoreboard and hear your boy Mike Maylock talk about the Draft and his early projections.

I've taken care of retarded people who speak better than he does. I just used the draft order that rkrause has setup on fantasy football jungle. I did one of my own projections before and Oakland had the top pick. I would also have Houston ahead of Green Bay, but this is the order if the season were to end right now. I know you like Cason, but Hughes and Hall have been so impressive and they'll put up nice combines as well from what I understand. This is really turning out to be a very good CB class too. Johnson has been great, but he's benefiting from offenses concentrating on Moses. Moses' lack of production this season is disheartening though. I dropped him a lot already and if he continues to show nothing then I'll keep dropping him. Truth is...Johnson got handled against Arron Sears in the Tennessee game. Sears is one of the best OL in the nation, but Johnson was handled none the less. Moses can't overcome double teams and chip blocks though.

Brohm clearly has the potential to be a franchise QB. Having to do with who you play in college is can be overrated. Chad Pennington, Byron Leftwich, Ben Roelisberger all are from the MAC and that's not exactly a tough conference. Brohm is being mentored by one of the best offensive gurus in the game today in Bobby Petrino. Al Davis WANTED Petrino as the Head Coach of the Raiders this year. That was his first choice. So Brohm to Oakland is very likely. Davis like Petrino and wants a QB with a big arm. That's exactly what Brohm is. His ties to Petrino will likely make him an Al Davis guy come Draft Day. In the type of situation laid out I completely agree that Oakland will take Brohm. I also don't buy the crap that the Raiders want to win now. I think they realized that they have a huge project on hands right now. They could go out and sign a QB but it didn't work with Brooks so I don't see them doing it again. Jarrett has all the tools. Randy Moss was never one to make big receptions when he was up there among the best in the games. It?s what you do when you catch the ball. Jarrett has a lot of TD?s as he?s closing in on the USC record and has a lot of upside. He?ll rate out to the #2 WR if he enters. Calvin Johnson is the clear cut #1. Jarrett has also been banged up all year. The 49ers don't have a #1 WR right now. Bryant is a decent option but he's not a game changer. Battle's upside isn't that great either. Jarrett's upside is much greater than both and on potential alone would be a great pick. He'll only help the investment the 49ers have with Alex Smith so Jarrett could definitely be on the 49ers radar but I think Nolan might want to go Defense since he is a defensive minded coach. As for Peterson being the best prospect in 5 years. That's a matter of opinion. I know some scouts that loved him but I know some scouts that said Michael Bush had he stayed healthy could of made a run at Peterson for the top back in the Draft. Durability is a concern with him but as far as being the best prospect of this decade. Highly doubtful. Carson Palmer was highly rated coming out and Reggie Bush can do more as a player. Peterson is no doubt up there but for him to be THE best prospect this decade is a bit of a stretch especially with Calvin Johnson in the same class as Peterson.

He's great yes...but Bush was a higher rated prospect than Peterson. Calvin Johnson and Brady Quinn are probably rated higher than him this season and Joe Thomas might be as well. Riiiiiight. I think only a Niners homer would buy that. Who besides Antonio Bryant has talent at the WR position? Taylor Jacobs? 300 yards in 4 years...oh very impressive!! Bryan Gilmore? 650 yards in 6 years...wow put him in the hall of fame!! Oh wait that rookie Brandon Williams? He's been thrown to all of zero times this season. There is no talent at the position and the one guy who does have talent, Bryant, is a head case. Get real man. Jarrett would run circles around these guys.

Watch him before you say he's not a franchise QB. He bounced back from an injury 4 weeks before he was supposed to and threw for over 300 yards today. His resilliency to injuries will definitely upgrade his stock. He would be the pick even if Peterson wasn't injured because LaMont Jordan has shown great ability without a good OL or passing attack. Peterson's draft stock actually will not drop because of his injury. He's still the best back in the draft and still a top 10 pick if not a top 5 pick. The Raiders are more than a veteran QB away from winning now anyway. Brady Quinn wouldn't win right away in the NFL. Almost no rookie QB does unless they are greatly protected by a great running game and a great defense ala Big Ben. You are such a 49ers homer!! Battle is not even close to Jarrett. Just because he has one big game against Oakland all of a sudden he's great? Jarrett will be very good in the NFL. Your Niners need OL help, DB help and some more targets for Alex Smith. Jarrett is the best available player in that mock for a need position. If Levi Brown fell to them then they would snag him, but for that mock...Jarrett fits a need. And it is a need.</div> No, I think ur an 'SC homer and not a very bright person...... <u> First, who did Brohm play against today? He isn't even in the Top 117 in recieving yards and as far as receptions....He is tied for 103rd in the nation...Steve Smith is looking like Mike Williams if you compare the two.... So 2000 yards and 29 TDs isn't production? He's got better tools than Mike Williams. Much better speed than Williams who is very slow and he's just as big. He's having a very good game tonight against Arizona St. You don't judge a WR on the QB that was throwing him the ball. That's like telling you that Rice was only good cause Montana and Young were throwing him the ball. That's just ridiculous. Who a team draft does not always have to do with who is a better player. If you want to put Brohm down because of injury, he's had two...how many has Peterson had...two. Hmmmm...that kills that argument. Peterson isn't the best prospect in the past 5 years. Carson Palmer was better. Julius Peppers was a bigger prospect than Peterson will be too. Bush last year and then there's Calvin Johnson this year.... Bryant is not a #1. What production? He barely eclipsed 1000 yards last season and he doesn't score a lot of TDs. He had two big games in the first two weeks of this season but what has he done since? Not even 40 yards in a game.

You said look at the numbers. There they are and those aren't very good numbers for a #1. Again without about the best prospect in the last 5 years is a bit of a ridiculous comment. He's up there but not that high. Carson Palmer would rate out higher. Reggie Bush probably would as well. Calvin Johnson for next years probably will since he clearly has more upside than any player in the Draft. If Peterson was he would be the clear cut top pick in the Draft and that was clearly debatable before the injury. I doubt the injury does anything to his draft status at all though. Jarrett is very comparable to Williams. Again you state he doesn't have the numbers. Last year he had 91 receptions for 1200 yards and 16 TD's. That's clearly good enough. He is injured this year and it's the first time in his career at USC that he's been banged up. He's playing hurt as well. So durability isn't much of a concern with him. He missed a game but no one is going to panic over a missed game because of an injury. Mike Williams vs. Jarrett is tough though. If Mike Williams had stayed he probably would of went much higher but as we've seen in the NFL he's a Bust anyways and Jarrett's future in the NFL is obviously in question. I say their about even as prospect and Williams went #10 so Jarrett should go that high as well.
Ok, a number one option is supposed to be a difference maker and explosive...Well Bryant has.... T-2nd in most 40+ yard plays T-3rd in most 20+ yard plays 8th longest play of the year 25th in yards per game AHEAD of players like... Larry Fitzgerald Terrell Owens Chad Johnson Hines Ward Randy Moss and MANY,MANY,MANY more
