Boston College beat favored Virginia Tech last night to bring their record to 5-1 overall & 2-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. They're 1 North Carolina State desperation pass away from being unbeaten. Virginia Tech was held without a touchdown for the first time since the 1998 Gator Bowl. So I ask you where's the respect?

It's a strange year in the ACC. Miami, Va. Tech and Florida St. are all 3 having down years. Clemson, NC State, Boston College and Ga. Tech are taking advantage of it. With the Hokies loss last night, Ga. Tech is now in a position to win the Coastal division as long as they can beat Miami in two weeks. The Atlantic division is now a 3 horse race with Clemson, NC State and BC. Wake Forest and Florida St. could play spoiler in the division though by upsetting one of these three teams.

Anyway....love for BC? They beat Clemson by an extra point, but a win is a win. I still think Clemson is a better team. Actually, out of the 4 true contending teams in the ACC...I think BC is 4th. I don't mean that as an insult. They were very impressive last night especially the OL. Matt Ryan had all day to throw. Va. Tech didn't register a sack last night and I don't really remember a time when they even got pressure on Matt Ryan. BC might have the best OL in the nation in my opinion. I actually mentioned this in a blog just a week ago. James Marten is a great OT and Josh Beekman is one of the top 5 OGs in the country.

The ACC is interesting. I think it's becoming clear that the usual "Big 3" (FSU, Miami, VT) won't be representing the ACC in the BCS.

BC has my love. They beat BYU earlier this year. That was an interesting game last night. The last team to beat Va Tech on Thursday was BC.

I think Clemson is the better team also. They really took Temple to the woodshed last night, but, who couldn't?

It won't disappoint me to see Buford Justice (B. Bowden) & the 'noles not represent the ACC.

The Noles would be sooo much better if they Put in Xavier Lee, to have a guy with the Athletic Abillity he has on the bench is ludicrous, he's the protoype College QB put him in!

I just think the eagles are overlooked because they have very little history of success other than the Flutie years. That & the fan base just isn't what they have at other schools because it's primarily a pro sports town.
