With the deadline fast approaching Yahoo Sports is reporting a rumored trade in the works between the Raiders & Packers. What do you make of this? Sorry the link would not work.

I don't see it happening. I think Favre would balk at any trade that didn't send him to a team that has a chance of winning some games.

I can't see this happening, either. I think the Packers are a better team than the Raiders are and the Packers can't win with Favre. They've been close, but they can't seem to finish games.

I just don't see the benefit for either team.

No Favre, But regardless of how much a dislike Randy Moss, I'd still give up a first or 2nd rounder for him

Favre in Oakland -I don't even want to think of that one. I don't see Randy fitting in GB and aside from Koren Robinson TT doesn't seem to want problem guys on the team

well personally if i were Green Bay fans even though Brett Favre is a legend hes pretty much retiring next year, so getting one of the best WRs in the game for him to help out Rodgers development would be huge.

I wouldn't mind it but it's a stupid rumor. It won't happen. Main reason management doesn't have the balls to sit Favre down. Anyone really think they have it to trade him. Also keep in mind Favre wants to go to a contender. Oakland is worse than Green Bay. Unless a 3 way would get worked out I just couldn't see it. Maybe Moss to GB. Favre to ? (Kansas City?) picks to Oakland.

Easy there tonto, he was just kidding around lol. What he says actually happens 99.9 percent of the time, I mean do you know how many Dallas fans I know were In love with T.O. after he was signed? At the same time last year he was one of the most hated men ever to appear in the Cowboys stadium! That aside, Randy Moss even though I seriously dislike him, would be a good pickup, however, his comments from a while back about not perfroming at 100 percent on everydown would probably not sit to well with Favre, Green and the rest of the Vets on Offense.

He's nothing compared to TO. Just win games and give him the ball and everyone is happy.

Overplayed - seriously overplayed. I'm not saying you are overplaying those comments, but the media certainly does. I don't think they were nearly as big of a deal as people made it out to be.

Oh I think so myself as well, but Favre came out and commented on them that same week as well and ended up being quoted saying something like "No one in my huddle will EVER give anything less than 100 percent" or something of that nature.

Right, thats just a moronic comment. If he said that, he should be shot. Actually, he should be shot regardless for being a cheater. Players are going to take plays off. its a fact of life

Actually my friend, that statement is Moronic. Honestly isn't it about time for some new material? I guess you'll never tire from beating the same dead horse though.

If we are talking about Moss' remarks about playing when he wants to play, I think that's the absolute truth. Here's another account of Moss giving up on his team.
