LOL I'm a bottom feeding, scum-sucking parasite? F*ck you, brah.</div> I'll take that as an admission that your behavior is unethical. I'm not trying to be combative. Again, I asked Legacy about Artest after it was publicized that he'd need surgery, and before there was any indication as to how long he would be out. I was willing to take the chance that he'd be out for a few months, or the rest of the year--which, as a non-cuttable player, would possibly doom my team from winning the championship. I offered a player taht is playing, will continue to play, and most importantly is CUTTABLE, so Legacy could use that rtoster spot however he wants. In comparison, you've offered a player that hasn't played in weeks, and may not play for another few weeks, and may possibly retire. What you're doing is abusing the veto system for your own advantage, and is one reason why veto systems should be discouraged. There either needs to be a cooling off period, where I get the opportunity to reformulate a new trade that is "acceptable" to everyone, or everyone gets an opportunity to submit an offer for Artest simultaneously, and Legacy can choose whichever one he likes the best.
unethical? it's fantasy basketball. we aren't playing for any prize, except bragging rights. there's no ethics involved. if it's that serious to you, you can combine my team with yours so you can win, since it seems so damn important to you.

I believe that any process must be clear, ethical, free from abuse, fraud, and self-dealing, and transparent, whether it is a business process, a government process, or even a game for fun. Rules like this one are meant to shield one from the misdeeds of others, not wielded like a sword. As I've stated, I have no problem with the decision by the the league based upon new information (namely, the amount of time that Artest will be out, although I still don't really believe it, especially given that he has apparently yet to even schedule the surgery) that wasn't known to me when I made the offer. I've explained why I thought my offer for Artest was fair and reasonable, but if others disagree, that's fine with me. I've come up with a solution that is both fair and reasonable. You, on the other hand, just hurl insults and seem to think that there should be no restriction on behavior that is, at least arguably and at most undeniably, unethical. Now, it's entirely possible--even likely--that your Marbury offer will trump anything I would offer (assuming that marbury will even ever play again, which is no sure thing), but the process used to reach that deal has, in my view, been tainted by what appears to be the self-serving exercise of your veto power. So who is taking this too seriously again? I'd really like to hear from others about this. If I'm crazy, please let me know.
It seems like it's Legacy's foul more than KC's. He should have waited to receive more offers for Artest, before jumping on the next one. But fantasy's usually about grabbing the opportunity before the next guy. I don't know how I feel about KC abusing the veto system- at least 5 other guys felt the way he did. But Artest's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and Marbury practiced yesterday and is a game-time decision today. There's still time for him to do something crazy like retire, though. If something does happen, I'm happy to vote veto tonight.
I just hurl insults? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Dumpy)</div><div class='quotemain'>He is a bottom-feeding scum-sucking parasite.</div> Who is the one who takes this league too serious? Maybe it's the one who is making a big issue out of all of this? Who is that again? You make it seem like I went around and convinced others to veto that trade, which isn't true, if someone didn't like it, they vetoed it, I apparently wasn't the only one who felt it was an unfair trade. That doesn't mean I have to sit around and give you a window to re-negotiate. I can offer trades, too, which was what I did, and then you flipped out about it.
I didn't veto the trade. I guess I was away from my computer for too long to veto the trade...still, Dumpy's trade was poop. Trade a former all-star for a player who's having an extremely shitty season? No way. KC's trade is pretty poop too. Marbury's not even playing this season, and Ronny might actually come back. wtf?
I see fruitcake has gone inactive the past 2 weeks, hope it's a case of him being gone for the holidays rather than giving up on the league.
Just got a trade...Zach Randolph for Kirk Hinrich. Would anyone do this? Because no way I would. Kirk helps me out with assists, and he gets enough points and rebounds to help out my team. And Randolph sucks.
Lol, I didn't know the Artest deal was gonna cause so much drama. I thought it'd be out for the rest of the season, so I accepted trades. Right now, I need a scorer, so if you want Artest, send me back a dude who average at least 20 PPG.
I have a surplus of PG's, they may not all be great, but they are good sources of assists, if anyone wants one, I could use a forward/someone who can hit 3's/score points in return.

He needs PG's, and tried giving me Randolph (who I don't really want).
speaking of trades not completed- at this point the robots are happy their preseason offer of tayshaun prince for brad miller was accepted, but much, much happier that their offer of grant hill for walter herrmann wasn't.
No one wanted Calderon when I offered him around, now I reap the benefits! Whoo! Dumpy, what's up with your boy fruitcake?
