Can I get another memory like this one today? This may be my favorite Dolphins-Jets memory. http://youtube.com/watch?v=4EGT36SF0wA
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>Can I get another memory like this one today?</div> Looks like a typical "Joey Memory" in the first half. 7-13-57 2-INT's - Most of his yards to RB's and TE's. <u>Halftime</u> NY Jets - 3 Dolphins - 0
Pennington is doing much either. It's a field goal battle. The Dolphins just cut the Jets lead in half, 6-3. Ooooooooh.

3rd Qtr. - :00 At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Jets are having their way with the Dolphins. Although the score is only 13-3, the Dolphins don?t seem to have an answer for the Jets passing game, as Pennington is making just enough plays in the air, and Washington is running past and through this slow-looking Miami D-line. 3rd Qtr. - 1:12 Another big mistake by the Dolphins offense as Sammie Morris leaves the ball on the ground and the Jets recover. As usual it?s every Dolphin making one mistake, not one or two guys making a bunch. The Dolphins don?t look to be in this game mentally, let alone physically. 3rd Qtr. - 3:23 Chad Pennington exploits this weak Miami secondary, as he finds Laveranous Coles wide open down the sideline for a long Jet TD. As good as the Miami defense can look at times, giving up the big play, which the Miami secondary is prone to do, will break the back of any team. NYJ 13 MIA 3
Harrington just hit Chambers for a touchdown. It looks like another late game surge just to fall short.
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Pennington hit our defensive back right in the chest and the moron dropped the ball. He would have scored if he could have caught that ball. Still 20-10.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>Harrington just hit Chambers for a touchdown. It looks like another late game surge just to fall short.</div> Well you play the Pack next week. They do the same thing so something has to give next week.
CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Harrington got us into field goal position and Mare blew it. I'm getting sick of coming up just short.
Stinks for the phins. I can feel your pain. My buddy, another phin fan, has almost given up. I think hes more excited about his fantasy team.
woot woot... good win, the Jets did scare me a bit in the 4th quarter but they pulled it out. We seem to do that in the 4th quarter a lot. we have to fix that. but good division win we needed it

At least, this team doesn't give up. Saban just needs to figure out how to get this team playing at a more consistant level for 60 minutes. I think he might want to consider preparing the offense to go into a hurry up mode at different times during the game to catch the defense off-balance. I like that Joey Harrington kept his wits about him after throwing two interceptions in the 1st quarter. He settled down and did a good job of leading the attempted comeback.

Further, they have not been blown out. The fact that they were competitive in a stadium where they usually self-destruct and get the shizzle kicked out 'em gives me some reason for hope.

They look better when they go into the hurry up offense. I'm glad Harrington is starting next week or I hope he his. GB has a history of playing well against him. Culpepper on the other hand has torched us even when he struggled last year.

As bad as Daunte's stats are, they are something Feidler would call typical.
