Roughly 15 minutes into his presentation Saturday at the Palm Springs Coaches Clinic, Burke, 61, fell to the ground and had CPR administered to him by three area high school basketball coaches. According to The Desert Sun, which first reported the incident, Burke's breathing and pulse stopped twice in the three minutes it took for paramedics to arrive.

Eventually, however, Burke's heart resumed beating and he was rushed to the hospital.
