Area: Portland, OR and Denver, CO How Long Have You Been a Fan: Since I saw a 1973 interview with George Allen who stated although his team made the SB he didn't consider the season a success not so much because they lost to the Dolphins, but rather because the Skins split the season series with "that team". The guy hated Dallas so much, he couldn't even utter the name. Growing up in Portland, I had no team; I only knew I hated the Cowboys. After that interview, I wrapped myself in the Burgundy & Gold. When I moved to DC after college, my love became an obsession. How Many Games Have You Been To: over sixty games including any road game I could make it to. I was even stupid enough to go to a game at Veterans alone--bad idea. How Many Jerseys Do You Own: None, but that's because I'm not a jersey wearer. Hats? Now that's a different story. Favorite Moment: Too many to remember, but besides the obvious ones (Riggo breaking the tackle on 4th and 1, the second quarter of the 1988 SB, etc.) I would have to say it was the final game vs. Dallas at RFK. I remember rushing the field after the game and ripping up pieces of the RFK turf, hugging fellow Skins fans I didn't even know. I still have pieces of RFK turf in my front yard at my home in Oregon and painted pieces in each of my Redskins SB mugs. Who Is Your Favorite Player: Chris Cooley--he's like a PG-rated John Riggins. Who Is Your All-Time Favorite Player: All time, it has to be the Monk Man. I went to Canton last month and damn it felt good to see him get into the Hall. My second favorite? Darrell. I went to Ohio for him too. What a fantastic weekend. What Are Your Thoughts on the Redskins 08 season: I think we're in for a long season. I think Jim Zorn is a placeholder for Bill Cowher. Vinny needs to go and Danny needs to stop meddling. I good owner hires people that will tell him "no" and will still write the checks.
