Suckinelli has gotten his first coaching victory! All he needed was a young team, to play bad on the road, after the bears softened em up for him. WTG! The margin of vicotry was impressive too, 3 points! Millen would be proud. That 22 wins for him, and it only has taken 85 games!

The race is on. Will the Lions reach 25 wins or 75 losses first?

Kitna and Roy Williams lit it up again. K.J. ran wild. The Lions should be 4-2 right now. The Seahawk, Packer and Ram games easily could have been W's. Look for a stong finish from this team. 8-8 isn't out of the question.

If thats the case, then the Packers should be 4-2 right now, and last year should have been 11-5!

I knew that was coming! My point was the Lions are the best one win team in the NFL as I type this.
No doubt in my mind about that.

It doesn't take much to make a Lions fan happy, does it?

It's not that I'm all happy about were they are right now. I just see a team that's played fairly well in three games they lost and one that's coming together. I expect you'll see what I'm saying on Thanksgiving. The Nation will see.

Green Bay is better. Green Bay beat the Lions in Detroit. That's enough said right there.

They also have lost to 4 teams all whom are at the top of their divsion. By the logic your using GB should be 3-2 right now but the fact is their 1-4.

The Lions are 1-5. To go 8-8 they would need to go 7-3 the rest of the year. Wow one win is nice but let's not go overboard.

That was an impressive victory by the Detroit Lions. They shut down McGahee and kept J.P. Losman off balance for most of the game. Kevin Jones? 127 yards rushing, and Roy Williams? huge 161 yards receiving led the way. Jon Kitna is now on a pace to pass for over 4,000 yards. Is this really a 1-5 team?</div>

Well I believe in what Parcells always says "you are what you're record says you are" I always feel to that the Packers should of won this game or that game but which team doesn't think that. Looks like we're down to 1 winless team

LOL. I dont really look at it that way. Just rolled another scrub-a-lub. Detroit lions could probably win 4 or 5 games this season, if they extended season for a few weeks (8)

60% of the games in the NFL last season were decided by 6 points or less. Close games are the nature of this league. Just because they get close still doesn't mean that should be such and such record. A friend of mine swore up and down that the Cowboys should've been contending for the Super Bowl last season because they had the Seahawks beat if it wasn't for the kicker missing field goals and a late Bledsoe interception to let the Seahawks kick the game winning field goal. Almost every team in the league can carry that type of argument now except for maybe the Niners and the Raiders. I think it's a bogus argument though. It might've had some value in the past, but not in this league where parity is the theme. You have to win the close games to be a true contender.

Jets should be undefeated they were so close vs the Jaguars

people say that teams should have a better record but the fact is if they are 1-5 they deserve it its called inconsistance you have to be very good to be consistanly good each week. Lions arent consistant infact most teams in the league arent. Look at the Eagles today, look at the Jaguars...

they could be 4-2 sure but they are 1-5 and thats that
