<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Orlando Magic could start the season as the team nobody sees on television -- including opening night and 11 of the first 16 games -- unless Bright House Networks and Fox Sports Network can come to an agreement in the next six weeks. The Magic broadcast schedule released Wednesday includes 35 games on FSN, which still isn't available on Bright House, the area's largest cable provider. The majority of televised Magic games -- 42 -- remain on Sun Sports, which has broadcast the team's games since 1989 and is available throughout the area on cable. The Magic's decision to split the broadcast contract between Sun Sports and its sister channel, FSN, has placed the fans in the middle of a fight between the cable provider and the networks. And unless there is a resolution, the fans will be left in the dark.</p> FSN and Bright House have been negotiating for more than a month, but still there is no deal imminent. The Magic open training camp Sept. 29 and play their first regular-season game Oct. 31. At issue is how much Bright House will pay FSN for its programming. FSN has insisted that it be placed on the expanded basic cable system -- like ESPN and Sun Sports -- but Bright House originally wanted FSN for its digital sports-tier package, which would cost extra for customers who order it. For now, it's nowhere. "It sounds now like this could go right up to the days before the season begins," said a source familiar with the negotiations. "Neither side wants to give up very much."</div></p> Source: Orlando Sentinel</p>
what about espn, abc, and tnt? they better be on there...i wanna see Howard dunk on people while Rashard drains some 3's.
Thankfully I get FSN Florida up here in Gainesville. I am praying that they get this settled though so that we can generate more support for our beloved team.
