I missed the opener, but I will be there this Sunday! Anyone else going? I'm taking BART to the game with a friend, and we will be roaming the tailgate parties before the game.

Who's BART? Is that your mass transit?

LOL, if you'll have beer, I'll be there. Well, not really because I'd have to skip my birthday party and fly across the country, but when beer's involved it at least crossed my mind.

BART stands for Bay Area Rapid Transit. It's like a subway that goes both above and below ground at times. It also has a tunnel that goes right under the Bay itself, parallel to the Bay bridge.

Heh heh, I will save one for you just in case you change your mind - but only until its time to go get my seat.

    The streak ends!

11 consecutive losses, now just a memory. Hello winning ways!

We had some funny Cleveland fan (from LA apparently) sitting behind us making comments the whole time, like "the Raiders always find a way to lose". It was one of those games that was tit-for-tat scoring and turnovers, and the conversation when like that too. As Dawson was lining up for the winning kick, I was dreading even turning around to see this guy laughing at everyone. The Raider defense had the last laugh today. When the kick was blocked, the whole place went nuts as if we had just won the Lombardi trophy. No more streak. Monkey ripped off back. Thanks, Tommy Kelly. Of all the victories that I have witnessed at that field, this one ranks up there as one of the most important to the fans, and the whole team in my opinion. The fans felt it, I got hugs from a bunch of random girls on the way out. The exits and hallways leading out were louder with people yelling than when they were when they first walked in that day. After the past two weeks, and the way the team fought back, we know they can pull something out of their arse to beat any team on any given sunday.

I think Kiffin should have gone for 2 after one of the touchdowns.

    Who went to the game?

"Raiders Hall of Fame center Jim Otto, who had his right leg amputated earlier this year, attended the game."

Good call by Kiffin to take the timeout just as the Browns were kicking for goal. The Browns would've been spewing.

Only time I get to see the Raiders is when they come to DC. Guess they wont be back here till about 2013. I didn't get any hugs from random girls at Fed Ex, but there was a Raiders fan club from Maryland. As my wife and I were leaving the stadium somebody hollered "hey there's the Snake". I turned to look and these Raider fans were all running toward me! Now I don't look that much like Kenny Stabler, but 8 or 9 beers and 50 yards away I look just like him...apparently. They wanted pictures taken! I had to stand there and convince them that I wasn't Stabler!

    It was great!
