Hasselbeck tossed a 22-yard touchdown pass to Nate Burleson with1:06 remaining, lifting the Seattle Seahawks to a 24-21 victoryover the Bengals on Sunday. It was the 17th career fourth-quarter comeback for Hasselbeck, who completed 24-of-37 passes for 248 yards and threetouchdowns. Burleson's touchdown capped a wild fourth quarter in which therewere four lead changes. Cincinnati (1-2) had taken a 21-17 lead on Kenny Watson's 8-yardtouchdown run with 2:48 remaining. After surrendering 544 yards in last week's 51-45 loss to theCleveland Browns, the Bengals' defense played better Sunday butcould not stop the Seahawks (2-1) when it mattered most. Facing a 3rd-and-10 at the Bengals 45, Hasselbeck hit DeionBranch for a 9-yard completion. On 4th-and-1, Shaun Alexanderripped off a 14-yard run around right tackle. SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Matt Hasselbeck became the latestquarterback to exploit the Cincinnati Bengals' beleaguereddefense. Hasselbeck tossed a 22-yard touchdown pass to Nate Burleson withone minute remaining, lifting the Seattle Seahawks to a 24-21victory over the Bengals on Sunday. It was the 17th career fourth-quarter comeback for Hasselbeck, who completed 24-of-37 passes for 248 yards and threetouchdowns. "A game like this, if you are fortunate to win a game like this,it is a good building block for your season," Seahawks coachMike Holmgren said. "Every phase of our football teamcontributed. You can build on that." Burleson's touchdown capped a wild fourth quarter in which therewere four lead changes. Cincinnati (1-2) had taken a 21-17 lead on Kenny Watson's 8-yardtouchdown run with 2:48 remaining. After surrendering 544 yards in last week's 51-45 loss to theCleveland Browns, the Bengals' defense showed improvement Sundaybut could not stop the Seahawks (2-1) when it mattered most. "This is a difficult football game to lose there at the end,"Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. "I think in all three phases -and I told our guys this - we need to execute and play better." Facing a 3rd-and-10 at the Bengals 45, Hasselbeck hit DeionBranch for a 9-yard completion.
