NFL: BUFFALO (0-2) at NEW ENGLAND (2-0)

Patriots look to keep rolling against Bills

Buffalo (0-2) at New England (2-0) Sunday 1:00 pm EDT

FOXBORO, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- With or without the aid ofvideo equipment, the New England Patriots have staked an earlyclaim as the NFL's best team.

The Patriots look to keep their offense in high gear Sunday whenthey host the Buffalo Bills, a team they have dominated inrecent years.

Last Thursday, New England coach Bill Belichick was fined$500,000 and the team docked a 2008 draft pick for videotapingsignals the week before against the New York Jets.

The Patriots responded with a 38-14 victory over the San DiegoChargers, who posted a league-best 14-2 record last season.

Tom Brady tossed three touchdowns, including two to Randy Moss, who seems to have blended in well with the Patriots despite hispast off-the-field problems.

Moss has given Brady an additional weapon in his arsenal andranks second in the NFL in receiving yards behind Chad Johnson. After gaining 183 yards against the Jets in his Patriots' debut,Moss added 105 yards against the Chargers, including his secondtouchdown of the season. It was Moss' first back-to-back 100-yard games since thebeginning of the 2005 campaign.

The Patriots also shut down the Chargers' high-powered offense, blanking them in the first half and allowing just 201 yards.

While New England boasts the league's second-ranked offense, they are No. 1 in defense, giving up an average of 214 yards pergame.

The Patriots are 30-9 against AFC East opponents since 2001 andhave won seven straight against the Bills, dating to a 31-0 lossto open the 2003 season.

Buffalo has not won in New England since 2000, but the Billscame close that season. The Patriots rallied from a 10-point topost a 19-17 victory, scoring the winning points on a safety.

After suffering a last-second 15-14 defeat in their seasonopener, the Bills managed only a field goal in last week's 26-3loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bills yielded 428 yards oftotal offense against the Steelers.
