Don't ask Shawne Merriman to answer that question.

I'd like to know the procedure that was followed to determine that the Patriots had fully cooperated. After all, I've had it beat into my head for days that everybody cheats. If I'm to believe that, then why would I believe that if you ask a cheater to turn over evidence regarding further cheating that they suddenly become honest and do that? I guess I have to believe that Bill Belicheat only turned over things that wouldn't hurthim or the Patriotsand he destroyed or hidthe rest.
It's Bill Belichick. Get it straight DolfanDale. (you wouldn't want me, for example, calling you dolphindale? now would you?)

For any quality investigator / auditor it wouldn't matter what the Pat's were willing to turnover as they would get what they need.

Public figures are fair game andforum posters are not. Denny made that point himself in my thread regarding Rodney Harrison taking HGH. Besides, I've been called much worse thandolphindale. You would have to do better than that to hurt my feelings. No, I'm not giving up my nicknames for players. Bill Belicheat can join Michael ConVick, Pill Romanowski, "Teflon" Dave Wannstedtand Turd Orifice in my Hall of Shame. Oh wait, before you take the next obvious step and start calling Dolphin players names just know that we heard all of that before. The DWO spent all of last season having a Lions fan call our then QB, Joey Harrington, Jo-Jo Dancer. Been there, heard that, expect to hear it again. Anything else?

(like calling the pats evil, it wasn't a joke either, it was personal)

It cant be personal when you are refering to an orginazation, only when you are talking about a person....you dont have the right to be offended for Bill Belicheat, thats why its ok to attack him but not you....

I haven't heard or read anything that suggests that an investigator or auditor was sent to the Patriots, only that the Patriots were told to turn things over. If an investigator or auditor was sent over to the Patriots facility then I would feel better about their findings. It just seems like the commissioner was quick to close the book on this case. I believe that the NFL owes it's fans an explaination of how they are making sure that everything that should have been turned over was for the integrity of the game.

Do I think the Jets game was the only time this happened? No....Do I think the players knew it was happening? No, I dont....if for no other reason than because none of the former Patriots that hate Belicheat have come forward to expose him and there a lot of those guys that would....I think the upper level coaches were in on it, but not the lower level coaches or the players....
If upper level coaches are in on it, then why hasn't Charlie "Look at Me" Weis said something on the topic?
Lets just put the whole thing to bed. The NFL set up the investigation and according to them, it has been satisfied. Can we move on with our lives?
Lets start talking about Zach Thomas simulating snap counts!
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/footbal...802.story

When asked about it, Charlie Weis let out a boiserious laugh and said something along the lines of "Im not touching that....Im not touching that with a 10 foot pole"....not the response you would expect from someone that had no knowledge of the situation....further, Weis and Belicheat are friends....the other part of that is, Weis had tons of success in NE, if he admitted to cheating, nows hes in question as well, and he works for a University that once fired a coach before he coached a game because there was an "inaccuracy" on his resume....

It strikes me as somewhat odd that the material was destroyed.
