I have been a doubter most of the year about the Vikings, but they looked really impressive against Seattle. It certainly helped that Hasselback was taken out of the game, but overall the team played well on offense, defense, and special teams. What I like most is that this is happening by progression - they are getting better week to week. I'm not ready to crown them yet (Denny Green might have issues with that), but for the first time this year, I am seeing some optimism.
Seattle is having some seriousl problems from NFC north opponents.. barely beat detroit got smoked by the Bears and Minn and GB still gets their shot.. Minnesota is a good team and the peices are starting to fit they could very well be a wildcard Playoff team
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>No Alexander. You break Hasselbeck... Hard not to look impressive...</div> Of course this would be the reason - did you compare Hasselback's stats to his backups? They are practically identical (actually, I think the backup played a bit better). The biggest difference is in the turnovers which: 1) the first INT was just a good play by the defense, 2) the fumble was a sack from the blind side - can't blame the QB for that, and 3) the last INT was at the end of the game when Seattle had to take risks. No Alexander does obviously make a difference, but if everyone is going to crown the Bears because of how they played against Seattle, then give the Vikings their credit - they played well. Next week will be a good barometer - will we see the Vikings who beat Seattle and played Chicago tough, or do we see the Vikings that lost to the Bills?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>Pats got the Vikings next week. It should be a good game.</div> Yes it should. Hopefully we can beat them like we did Cincy but that doesn't happen very often. I just hope we win. We normally do pretty well in Monday night games so we'll see.

Vikings are definitely a good team. I won't take anything away from them based on Seattle's injury situation. In the NFL a win is a win...and they're hard to come by. I don't think Seattle had any idea how much they'd miss Steve Hutchinson.
