Just got home from my trip to Oaktown. A bit too tired to go too far into it, but I had a blast as always. Got to see win number 1, and to see Madden get his HOF ring. The Madden thing was spine tingling since they ran video of his induction as well as highlights from the seasons he coached. I need to go to bed. Too much fun and driving.

    Chip,

    RAAAAAIIIIDDEEEEERRRRSSS!!!

10 games left....don't think that I wont savor this one all the way into springtime.

One small step, big enough to trample Matt Leinart. A. Walter is 1-0 vs. Leinart in pro ball. [IMG] Were the Raiders right when they passed on Matt in the draft (because they had Walter waiting on the bench)? I believe they did the right thing. I kind of like the way things have turned out at the QB position. Brooks is dogging it on the bench 2 weeks longer than we expected, which is giving Walter much needed reps. The Raiders can win with Walter, the Cardinals have not yet won with Leinart.

I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. I'm not even necessarily a Raiders fan and I would have enjoyed that ceremony.

Keep going? I talked to my wife at the end of the first quarter and she said, "You know, you're not going next week just because they win."
She doesn't belive that I could be the difference maker.:X

You really don't think the Raiders will beat the Steelers this week whether you're there or not do you? [IMG]

Here's hoping that it won't be the only one to savor into springtime.

I like Walter, alot. Whether he's as good as I think he will be is something that we'll have to wait on. I was never sold on Brooks coming in, and I would have been happier if they had signed Collins at a reduced rate even though the record might not be any different. What is going to help Walter is that Randy seems a bit happier the past couple of weeks... even though I saw him dogging a couple of plays the were going the other way, it wasn't every play, and he took responsibility when he dropped a couple of tough passes.

I have as much chance of helping them win as that Martin Lawrence looking QB on the bench. [IMG]

Did I miss something? I thought the Steelers were 2-4. 2-4 means that your losing twice as many games as your winning. 2-4 is only one game better than the Raiders at 1-5. Could someone please explain to me why it is so absurd to think that the Raiders could possibly win this football game? Maybe I'm taking SF's post a little too seriously.

SF is the only one taking his own posts too seriously. Kind of odd when you consider the fantasy world he's been living in recently.

Well, Oakland proved that their defense can compete with the elite of the AFC. The only team they haven't gotten a piece of yet is Indy. Offensively....Lemme get back with you on that one.

Man..Ben Roethlisberger is overrated big time...This guy is an injury-prone no talent quarterback...All he did for two seasons was give the ball off and manage the clock because the defense won all the games for them along with the running attack...LOSER...

    * First quarterback to start two Conference Championship games in first two seasons in the NFL (2004 & 2005)
    * 28-8 won/loss record as a starting quarterback in the NFL (as of 10/22/06)

Ben is rated appropriately, you just don't know what you're talking about.
