What made me sick was Skip on Cold Pizza this morning. That guy looks for any opportunity to rag on TO. I'm not a TO guy, but the media makes too much of him sometimes. Skip said he thought that Owens really did slide down. Watch the replay of the play and it's easy to see that he didn't slide. Owens has never shied away from a big hit. He doesn't mind taking them at all. He doesn't drop balls cause of big hits. He drops balls cause he just doesn't have great hands.

Perhaps if we can get Shockey, Irvin, and Sanders involved, it will really be a discussion to flush. Seriously, though, I have to wonder how you can be critical of Owens, and then turn around and admit that the turf was horribly slick. Whether he is right about Owens or not, he looks like an idiot. Plus, I don't need him to give Owens another reason for the media to stick a mike in Owens face. We know how that goes.
Plaxico Burress is just trying to grab a little of the Turd spotlight. I didn't see the play, but I don't see how Burress can say it was such a bad surface and then turn around and KNOW that Turd slipped on purpose. As much as I detest Turd Orifice, he usually does catch balls in traffic. He has to because he doesn't have the speed of a Randy Moss, who is terrified of contact. Edit - If it looks like I'm repeating Cowboy71, it's just because the whippersnapper types a little faster than I do.

You're setting yourself up to get hit on a slant route everytime. TO has the size to be able to break out of tackles and absorb hits to turn slants into big gains.
