Now he is looking like the QB he should have been since he was drafted.. This is one dangerous weapon..

2 games means almost nothing. Mostly his Wr made some great plays, and steelers couldnt cover crumpler.

Well I've been very impressed. If he continues like this, then I'll be ready to crown him as one of the best QB's the league.

But, I doubt he will continue like this...

Cincinatti is a very pour D especially against the run which is Atlanta's strength.

If you want to crown him, crown his a$$ He is who we thought he is!, and thats why he took the field. Who takes 2 games in a season like its BS, BS. We had him where we wanted him, and we let him off the hook.

    Sorry, had to.

I wanted to reach into my TV and slap Deion Sanders this morning. He was telling everyone to shut up about Michael Vick because he was throwing the ball so well. It seems to me that Michael Vick had a couple of good games in the middle of last season then reverted back to his usually miserable form. I think the same will happen here. Two good games doesn't make a guy a great player. Rather than patting the guy on the back, shouldn't everyone be saying, "It's about time." I just don't understand how Vickolytes will stand behind Vick year after miserable year, but yell for other QBs to be benched if they have a few bad games. Enjoy Vick's success now because it won't last long.

I was told after 1 bad grossman game he was a fraud. After 2 it was confirmed, he has 4 great games, but that doesnt matter

Everyone's writing Daunte's off but #7 has a few good games and all of a sudden he really truly is all that on toast.

Id take Vick over Grossman anytime. Now Vick is actually seeing plays develop and somehow he looks like a QB. I know surprising

He's now 2-2 in games that he's thrown over 25 passes this year. He was 10-13 in his 25+ pass attempts game coming into this season. That's a terrible record especially considering his career winning percentage. He hasn't shown that he will win games with his arm consistently yet even after 2 weeks. Dolphin Dale and everyone else that said this hit it right on....two games prove nothing. He had that last season too and then told the media to shut up with the criticism of his arm. He went on to tank after that.

This is truly sad, I'm amazed that some people still can't give Vick any small ounce of credit at all for what he did even if it was for only 2 games. Doesn't matter though because even if Vick consistently from here on out put up great numbers in the passing game there would still be zero respect or credit given to the guy, that's how bad it really is. Vick is a great QB, and he's just doing what the Vick supporters and Falcon fans always knew he could do, regardless of the haters.

I understand that typically people don't like to admit when they're wrong about something so that is why they continue to hate and make up excuses like it was the WR's who did everything or the defenses he faced were a cake walk. Fact is the guy went out there 2 weeks in a row and put on a show, and he will continue to do so.

Hate on boys, just remember that a hater is simply a fan who won't admit it.

We are supposed to recant & jump on the Vick bandwagon which is unjustifiably too crowded already.

Why? Because, he actually played like a typical QB for the 2nd time this season and possibly the 5th (it can't be more than that) in his career? NO!

So, what exactly is a homer? I thought you might know.

Never said to hop on the Vick bandwagon, simply was saying how pathetic it is that he can't be given credit for a good game just as any other player in the league would be entitled to some credit if they had a good game, and yet Vick only gets excuses. There is nothing wrong with complimenting a player on how they played, but with Vick it's always an issue. As if people don't complain enough when he doesn't play well, why is he not deserving of any credit when he shows what he can do out there?

As far as the homer comment goes, I guess it makes me a homer because I believe in the QB of my team, so sue me for wanting him to succeed and giving him some credit for doing his job.

I'm not a hater nor a bandwagoner. I just think that Vick & Co. are heading the right way by letting him do what he wants to do, that is running with the ball or throwing the ball. He seems to be doing a good job throwing and he's been good at running. So that makes him a double threat. He is dangerous if not contained. But the only thing I'm concerned is if he can keep this up and it's not something he does randomly throughout the season. But what I really am looking forward to is the Ravens/Falcons game. I just wanna see how he stacks up against the Ravens D. But for now, I'm willing to wait after the Bengals game. GAMEPLAN!

You are an objective person and football fan MKIV. You are able to put aside your emotions, prejudices and beliefs to see reality for what it is. There are many people who are unable to be objective in their ways of thinking and that's what makes them haters. They are so stuck on their prejudices that they wouldn't be able to see reality if it came up and slapped them in the face. That's why discussing such issues as Michael Vick is like hitting your head against a brick wall over and over again if you are an objective person dealing with people who are clearly not.
