I don't have a very good feeling for this season any more for the Eagles. Which as a fan has you thinking more for the future and areas where the team needs to focus some attention. It seems being able to stop a team with a good running game is one of the top areas that needs to be addressed. Where do they need to improve to be able to stop the run? How many years will this take?
OLB is a definite need position and I think they need to replace their SS. Improvements at both positions could go a long way to helping out the run game. The DTs on this team are underachieving. I'd like to see more of Bunkley in the rotation at the position. Actually...has he gotten much playing time at all? I don't remember seeing him much in the couple of Eagles games I've watched.
Eagles managed to pull out the victory yesterday and still have a shot at the playoffs. It doesn't seem like Bunkley gets much playing time and you wonder why. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Pretty much over, huh? Jeff Garcia has a shot at comeback player of the year if he can get the Eagles into the playoffs and maybe win a game. The guy has had a QB rating of 100+ over his past four games with a 3-1 record. And he's been playing hurt!
Yeah, I was definitely wrong on this one. Things didn't look too good when I originally posted but are looking much better now. We will see how they do against Dallas and Atlanta. That off season move to get Garcia was huge!
Jeff Garcia is killing right now....I'm so freaking happy he is getting his reps on another good team....He was great for the Niners but was another one of "York's Casulaties"....York is the worst owner in the NFL without any doubt...Al Davis is even better than York.....Good for Jeff....I've been cheering for him....He kicks ass..Get it done Jeff!
While the eagles do look like a bit of an underdog im going to have to disagree with you i mean sure the wins they get might not look the best or feel the best but a win is a win and the fact that this team went through the east like a storm when everyone doubted just shows me that they can do anything im happy to say that the eagles season is not done and will not be done after next week... Not only do i think they will beat the giants but i also think they will go to the superbowl call me crazy but look around at the nfc east. 1. Chicago and New Orleans the two teams that look the best on paper.. are the most inconsistant teams in the league. 2. The giatns, cowboys, and seattle, all of these teams are broken down either there qauterback is breaking down, or the whole teams breaking down. The only team that seems to have everything together is the eagles. there on a 4 game wining streak and coming to phila to take on a broken down giants team whose only real weapon with eli at qauterback is tiki who when put against the eagles defense he averages just 50 yards. Common how can you say this season is over at in my eyes its just begining. 10-6 predicted 12/10 baby .
