    1) Moore was held by the LB on the pass which was intercepted by Harrrison

    2) Does Brady appear to be too locked into Watson as he was on the goal line before the FG?

    3) You knew those bleepers in the booth would find some way to slam Culpepper.

Johnson is stinking it up. Poetic justice for point 3 above.

Wow, Doug Gabriel is a great pickup and Brady just marches downfield.

The Vikes finally put up some points with a punt return.

Let me be the first to say that the call against the Vikings about the pass being incomplete was total BS. That was a Troy Polamalu-like call. He CLEARLY had possession of the ball. Sorry Vikings fans, that sucks. [IMG]

Really didn't matter. The refs calls were BS all night long, and the Vikings still should have lost by a ton. What a horrible, horrible game.

Honestly, I am thankful to the Patriots - maybe some of these local fans will see that Childress is not as good of a coach as they think. I'll admit it, I started to drink the Johnson cool-aid, but it took some convincing. Now I see that I was originally right - he is not a good QB and is at best a band aid (not that Bollinger is any better). I some rough years ahead for the Vikings.

BTW, what was up with the Pats going for it on 4th down? And why were they still spreading out 5 receivers when they were up 31 - 7? I'm sorry, but that was classless.

Yeah I didn't understand the logic behind that. They usually go out of their way not to score once the game is in hand.

LOL, yet the Bears SLAUGHTER people mercilessly and nobody talks smack about them regarding their class or lack thereof. The reason the Pats were passing so much is because the Vikings have a very strong run D and a very soft pass D. It makes sense to me.

BTW, I wonder what Maroney said to Dave Thomas after that return? If Thomas hadn't tripped him up he would have had the TD.

I have no problem with the Pats passing a lot, I do have a problem with them going for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter and trying to run the score up on an already humiliated Vikings team. That's where I see a total lack of class.

I can understand that in high school football or maybe even college but in the NFL a team better play all 4 quarters if they want to secure a win. Look at the stats for the Bears/Cardinals game for a very good example. Either that or the 1st NE/Jets game when we had them down 24-0. They came back to lose 24-17 so anything can happen. I believe that is why the Pats continued to try to move down field. I honestly thought the return for a TD by the Vikings turned the game around. After that it was only a 10 point game so that shows you how fast things can change in the NFL.

I hate to be Mr. Obvious but the Vikings couldn't anything going. It was the Patroits won this game from the coin flip. I had a bad feeling about this game.

Was at the game and it was aweful right from the first drive. Can't really compare the Pats still going for it to the Bears. They were up 41-0 after the half then called off the dogs. Seems as if the Vikings basic D has been exposed but maybe it takes Bill and Brady do do it and next week they'll be successful again.

I don't know what it is but people seem to hate the fact that the Pats are winning. BearsFan1 is one of the most hostile people on this board toward the Pats and he believes that the Bears can't be stopped even after they almost lost to one of the worst teams in the league.

He isn't hostile.. Nor does he hate the pats.. he does it to get a rise out of you and it seems to work... He is like i am a very Bias person when it comes to the bears... We have the highest scoring offense, the highest scoring defense, and have given up the least amount of points in the NFL.. The Bears are the best team in the NFL until someone does to us what S.D did to the colts last year.. I am not saying pack the bags to Flordia Because anything can happen in the NFl and anyone can lose any given day.. But till someone finishes the job on beating the Bears.. then they remain on top

About what? Its part of the rules to keep the discussion to football and to not make statements attacking other members of the forum. Your statement, in my view, was not on a football topic, but rather about BF1. Read the rules.

Personally, football is such a small part of my life these days, I really don't care that the Vikings lost. I was made because I ended up missing Heroes - that's about it. [IMG]

I didn't want to make a bigger deal out of it, but since you are calling me out on it...

Not sure if anyone else saw the "official review" on NFL Total Access, but Mike Periera the head of referees agreed that the Wiggins "incomplete" pass was incomplete. He said it was a "bang bang" play... He said that there wasn't enough time to make a football move, even though he tucked the ball and got three feet down... I think basing whether or not there's a catch on if it's a "bang bang" play is going to make things a-lot more confusing...

I think if Wiggins managed to get THREE FEET down then we have a bigger story than an incomplete pass.
