Vinatieri didn't fare so well either in Foxborough.

All I know is I'd hate to be a WR playing with Brady or Manning, because you instantly become a product of their ability to make everyone around them better. I mean all you hear is how Tom Brady makes his recievers look good, it's not possible that they're just playing well. I don't think it's as bad with Manning although I'm sure plenty say it. I do think Manning is a good qb but he has been rattled and he does seem to have more trouble then normal in the playoffs. He will most likely get into the HOF but I'm not sure about a SB. Brady also will get into the HOF, I mean he already has 3 SB rings. Both of them are above average qb's but I don't think either are the best to ever play the game but then again that will never be decided.

Manning is definately the smarter of the two. In terms of who's better it's really a toss up. I'll take Brady because he's proven to get it done in the clutch in big games. He's done it in Super Bowls and the Playoffs. Manning hasn't yet and that's the one thing holding him back. I agree with Cubbs though. I think Manning and the Colts are going to win a Super Bowl eventually. I think this Colts team is one of the better teams in the last 20 years to not win a Super Bowl yet. I think they'll get one soon and maybe even this year. If Manning wins a Super Bowl and keeps playing at the pace he is he'll break every record in the book whether it's Favre or Marino holding them. With that and a Super Bowl he'll clearly be the greatest ever but they'll always be that debate. I'm pretty grateful that I get to see 2 great QB's go head to head like Manning and Brady. I think it's the best QB rivary I've ever seen and I think when it's all said and done it'll be remembered as that. It really is a great thing to watch.

Here is my take on the whole "Brady" situation.

He tried to be like Manning and he is not that type of QB. That is the jist of it, pretty much. The reason I have always felt he is the better QB is because he did whatever it took for his team to win. On Sunday night, he didn't do what it took for his team to win and I honestly believe that he tried to "out-do" Manning. The loss rests squarely on Brady's shoulders IMO because the rest of the team was doing their part. The D forced several 3 and outs and a turnover and what did Brady do? He gave it right back to the Colts by trying to force big passing yards the whole game against defenders who practice with the best receivers in the league every day. How stupid was that? We were running all over them and then we just stopped and let Brady throw INT after INT until there was simply no way for the Patriots to win unless they scored on special teams or defense. I am pissed at Brady right now.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CanadianFavreFan)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'll admit Peyton is smart but I think he's not as intelligent as he's made out to be. When it comes to big games he's been stumped a lot more then Brady by an opposing cordinater. I thought Brady pushed a bit to much yesterday which just isn't his game. Peyton's lucky enough to have 2 of the best wr's but he's even luckier to have one of the best lines. If Favre had that line he wouldn't be spending every other down in the shotgun and could stand in the pocket where he can still get it done</div>
I think the Colts O-line is a bit overrated. It seems to me that everytime the playoffs roll around someone figures out how to get pressure in Peyton Manning's face and force him to throw on the run which is not Peyton's strength. That's why I don't blame Peyton for all of the Colts playoff losses. Dungy has to know by now that coaches like Belichick and Cowher are going to put pressure in Peyton's face, so he and his O-line coach need to come up with a counter for it to allow Manning to stay in the pocket and deliever the ball in the manner which he is most successful.
