Countdown? I never miss it. Somehow, I don't think we are talking about the show on BF1's fave network -- MSNBC.</div>
I actually like that show. I also enjoy MSNBC. I'm listening to it right now.

Oh back on subject. So how was this game? [IMG]

Geez...did the O-Line stay in the locker room for the game or what?</div>
I think they did the first half. I belive it was 8 in the first half...Then they came out and let one sack in the 2nd. If they left up 4 more sacks they would of beat the most sacked number of 12.(I belive_</div>
They are on pace to shatter the single season record for sacks given up. The O-line needs to get fired.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Send Em Back Al)</div><div class='quotemain'>So it's going to be a kick the RAIDERS cause they're down kind of night? Joe I can understand, cause he's a whiny pussy, but what's up with Mike taking a shot at the Godfather? Oh well, the game is starting and I'll hold my bitterness til later.</div>
Way back, in 2002 when the Raiders were competing for the playoffs, the AFC game of the week used to be owned by Phil Sims and Greg Gumble. I got so fed up with their commentary that I would just mute the television and turn on closed captioning. I would just play some music in the background, usually AC DC or Metallica. More recently, I have been giving some of the newer commentators a chance, and actually listening to what they have to say. I still can't stand Dan Dierdork. He's Mr. Obvious, most of the time, and always seems to be 2 thought processess behind what is currently going on. Madden can tend to be Mr. Obvious at times, but at least his style is fairly entertaining.

I agree with you. However, Walter would be much easier to evaluate if defenders weren't running at him unblocked.

As many of us RAIDER fans have been saying the last couple of seasons, the O-Line is a major problem. Beside the fact that there have been injuries that caused positional shuffles, they just aren't getting off on the snap fast enough to stand up the pass rushers. Too many times the O-lineman is getting a great view of his QB getting sacked since his assignment has run right past him. The run blocking is better than the pass blocking, but plenty of times a running play ends at the line of scrimmage or behind it.

Play calling is abysmal. Walsh gets it right for a couple of plays at a time, then he melts down into three passes and out. Mixing it up doesn't seem to be in his repertoire. Unfortunately, those passing plays often end with Walter on his ass. Sometimes it's a sack and sometimes it's a hurried pass, but seldom is it a play where everything comes together.

Sometimes it is him holding on too long, but mostly it is the fact that they have him on 5 and 7 step drops and the defense is getting to the spot of his drop at the same time he is. He's not the fastest guy in the world, but maybe rolling him out some would help to buy time. Of course, the O-Line would still have to do some blocking for that to work.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Packersfan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Although the Offense played horrible for the Raiders, the defense kept them in it the whole time, unfortunately they couldn't score points for them too, like last week.</div>
As a Raider fan, I am very happy with the way the defense has come together this season. For so many years, the team was mainly focused on offense, and the defense was always the biggest weakness. Now that my wish for more defense has been granted, it comes with a horrible new offense. When talking with the genie, I should have worded my wish a little better. Maybe I should have wished for everything that I touch will turn to gold.
