Just announced today... Trent Green will start Sunday vs. the Raiders. I'll be interested to see how rusty he is...
Bad choice, Huard has proven he can win games for the team. Herm was just finding a reason to bench him since Green came back and he is using the loss to Miami as a reason I bet. Whatever, it's not like they had the best chance to get to the playoffs with San Diego and Denver in their division.
I'm not sure that it's a bad choice. As much as I like Damon Huard, I believe that a healthy Trent Green gives the Chiefs the best chance to win big football games. Even though the Raiders have been playing much better football, I think I would rather bring Green in to play them rather than throw him in to play someone like the Chargers or Broncos.
yea I think it is a really smart move if Green is ready to play and Herm has wanted to put him back once he got healthy again. If you want to ween your QB back into playing what team better than the Oakland Raiders, one of the worst teams in the league. It doesnt put that QB in with so much pressure to think he has to win the games they can rely on Larry Johnson all game.

Losing to Miami is not a reason to bench a player...every Qb has a bad game...i don't think that if Trent had not gotten injured they would have won the games they had...against the seahawks, rams...So if they wanna win they should keep Huard
I think everyone is forgetting that he will be facing the Raider's D, which is pretty good. I wonder if they lose if they'll go back to Huard? lol
