QUOTE

The pick-up games are starting heat up at the Lakers Training Facility as more and more guys trickle in from their off-season resting places. Today saw regulars Luke Walton, Andrew Bynum, Brian Cook, Chris Mihm, Sasha Vujacic, and Jordan Farmar joined by Maurice Evans, Javaris Crittenton, Vladimir Radmanovic, & Coby Karl. Here’s some quick observations:

[*]Farmar and Crittenton spent most of the morning matching-up against each other on opposing teams. Both showed an aptitude to run the show and push the ball. [*]Brian Cook took the ball down low whenever he touched it. He’s been working on his post moves over the summer and looks a lot more comfortable with the ball in the block. [*]Vladi’s outside shot was falling. [*]Sasha and Vladi have traded haircuts from last season. Sasha is sporting the shaggy look while Radman has it buzzed close. [*]Andrew Bynum has been in the weight room during the summer and it’s noticeable. He finished off one game with a monster alley-oop from Luke Walton and let out an exuberant scream. [*]Luke Walton, Maurice Evans, & Jordan Farmar stayed after the games broke up to work on their outside shooting.
[/list] Source: Lakers.com
BYNOMITE!

I just scanned throught pictures of the pick up games off that link. It's the second batch at the bottom of the page. There's a picture of Bynum, his cavs are GYNORMOUS! Pic #2 & #8.
There's also a picture of Bynum dunking on Mihm.

Man they look big but lets hope he brings that to the season. I have a feeling that the Lakers are going to be good this year.

Bynum does look pretty solid in those pictures. Hopefully with that leg strength he can hold his own in the post.
I think the guys took what Kobe said about the team and turned it around to inspire them to get better
of course we can't tell til it translates onto the court during season, but as of right now, I'm proud of them...despite the dancing
