Man a lot of things can change over a few months, I still like Wayne, but I don't listen to him nearly as much as I used to.

Thats the thing though, I Feel Like Dying is actually a concept song, and Wayne doesn't really have many of them. Some of his best songs are BM JR (its just a really nice punchline song), I Miss My Dogs, Ain't That A Bitch, Hustler Musik, This Is What I Call Her (he kill Lovin' It from 9th Wonder this is on Dedication 2)...

But Wayne's strength isn't really in his overall song making ablility, its more of in his punchlines.

...so then why are you listening to Lil' Wayne?

I told you already! I'll listen to anything and everything Rap/Hip-Hop related. Geez, what the hell is wrong with you people? I ask for recommendations from one artist I dont even like, and you make out like its the only thing I listen to.

Hustler Musik has a reversed message too. It's about him killing some girl. In the actual song, he says,

‘I aint never killed nobody I promise
And I promise if you try me you gon
Have to rewind this track, and make it go back'

He also says, ‘Anybody murderer if birdman sponsor it'. Well if you play the song backwards, he supposedly says,
'A girl died from my knife, it was september run her meat albini' at that part.

Then later in the song, he says, 'New Orleans now, see now reaper its mercy now, the deamons, (…) oh they fear satan eh, yes' and then it just keeps saying 'PLAY IT BACK, PLAY IT BACK, PLAY IT BACK BABY'

Most conspiracy theories, reverse lyrics, and such are usually BS. You shouldn't post something like that until you check out your sources.

I don't know if journalistic integrity should be that high a priority for a Lil Wayne thread. I mean....its Lil Wayne we're talking about. I don't know if annotated bibliographies should be the norm for 'superhead' threads either.

Ahh man.... So you seriously don't know about the best mixtape series ever? Mood Muzik 2 is a classic (it was a mixtape and some consider it the best album of 06) and Joe just released MM3 last week and besides Lupe's album it's being considered the best album of 07. You are disappointing me Jigga.

Haha oh no! Well I'm not a big mixtape listener; my friend does big time and not too long ago turned me on to Green Lantern and JR Writer. Which would you recommend hearing first: Mood Muzik 2 or 3?
