If the Seahawks were playing a good football team they wouldn't have dodged any bullets. Luckily for the rusty Hasselbeck they are playing the Packers and are still in the football game.

The officiating didn't really help, either.

Play calling lost us this game, be it on Brett's or Mcarthies behalf, the plays in the 2nd half SUCKED ASS. Our Defense finally does something, forces 4 turnovers and we can even hold a damn lead, pathetic.

There was an article this morning bashing the play calling in the game. One example was when the Packers were up 7 - 3 and it was third and goal from the 11, they handed off for one yard and settled for the 3 attempt (it was blocked) rather than letting Favre try to get it into the end zone with a short field.

But you're right...the play calling in the 2nd half was truly awful as well.

McCarthy is a very inconsistent Head Coach. Some weeks I think he's the right guy and GB got the best one out of the NFC North newbies but then other times I can't understand what the heck he is thinking. He's either to aggressive or to conservative.

I did ? some playcalling but some of the conservative stuff in the first half I didn't have a problem with as the snow was blowing and Seattle was crapping on Offence

Got to go for the kill in my opinion. I look back at the Miami game and the announcer was really lashing in about McCarthy's play calling late in the game. Letting Favre loose and passing the ball. GB played to win that game and they came out on top. Against Seattle they had a chance to go for the kill early and really played to lose by running the ball on 3rd and goal from the 11 yard line. Favre is also at his best when the team is leading rather than trailing.
